I am doing that operation after two weeks , how bad does it hurt ?:( can you describe the pain I will go through ?

I had mine done 6 weeks ago. Once you get over the initial numbing injections you're golden. I mean, the initial injections for me were just awful 😰and I'm pretty sure my doctor thought I was a lil bitch but they were quick and then I felt nothing. I actually fell asleep during the implanting stage. I could feel the sensation of the continuous injections afterward to keep it numb but no pain. 6 weeks later and half my damn head is still numb and the other half (donor area) is still tender and itchy AF!

And how are you gonna get rid of the itchy donor area ? Is there an ointment for it ?

@@tonyforrealI think I went into shock mode after the first injection, lol but i'm guessing 5 or 6 for each section they are working on. In the morning they numbed one section of the donor area to do the extraction and then in the afternoon they do the injections again to numb the recipient area. I thought the donor area injections were painful but the recipient area along the hairline was even worse. My procedure for 3000 grafts was done over a 3 day period (1000 grafts per day) so I had to go through that misery 3 days in a row. I guess it's different for everyone though. Some say it's not that bad but the majority say it's awful. Regardless, it's all worth it in the end.

@@tonyforreal I'm alternating between a polysporin anti itch gel and an aloe vera gel right now. It helps a lot for the dryness and itching, for me anyway. It doesn't itch constantly and getting much better than it was but it comes in spurts.
