I’ve been stopped by police 10+ times. I’ve only been arrested for a dui once. I was in the military and I’m white. I think this is why my police interactions have gone so smoothly even when I’ve been completely blasted while driving or them finding drugs and them not charging me.

You can indeed get a dui on a bicycle if you are on a public street. When I was 19, I had a dui. As I was being led into the jail from the squad car, a drunk guy was riding a bicycle past the police station. He was riding the bike with a bottle of tequila in each hand. Riding a bike with your hands full is difficult. Doing it while drunk, is even more difficult. He fell off the bike & rolled right into the front lawn of the jail. Practically at the feet of the officer. He was later sitting inside the holding cell with me. It was 1997.

You can still get a DUI sleeping the car. You have to make sure the keys are out of reach. Getting caught with keys in the ignition or within reach shows the intent and capability to operate the vehicle while drunk.

The cool thing about Nevada is that you can ride any vehical, as long as it's non-mottorized. The DUI law doesn't cover bikes, scooter, or electic scooters, which means even if your sauced you can still ride something with some juice (wouldn't recommend it).
