I had my last drink on Nov. 22, 1989 -- the day I began a 60-day sentence for my third DUI in 10 months. It was the worst day of my life -- but turned out to be one of the best as it started me down a road I wouldn't change for anything. I was 25 then. @John Smith Damn straight. Wealthy parents who believe more toys will make up for not playing with a child. That a kid will be just as satisfied and feel emotionally cared for in the care of a nanny as it will in their own. Also one I see a lot is harsher punishments for minor infractions, justified because the child is privileged and they don't want it to be a spoilt brat. Also through spending little time with the child, they don't put the breaks on when it starts acting out to get their attention. By the time they get involved the child is already waaaaay down the wrong path. So they blame everyone else. They blame their friends and their parents as a bad influence, so ban them from seeing them. They blame the school for poor grades and so they move them. etc etc. They don't realise they are just isolating their already attention starved child from it's only support groups. There is no substitute for the time and love a parent should give.
@mikesully1103 жыл бұрын
@@Ebmoclas19 yes it's sad when kids aren't given attention.
