ABc Yes they are, they sell 97% of the freely donated hair and as yet the profit from that and where it goes is undisclosed, my guess is there are a lot of people getting rich on foolish kindness.

It’s true, I’ve checked into this stuff, the majority of the hair gets tossed, they actually use very little of what people graciously cut. I think it’s rather BS that some people, mostly women, go through this trauma thinking they are actually doing something positive by cutting and especially shaving their heads and yet their hair goes into a garbage can, so to speak. Needless sacrifice for nothing.
