I got the full set also I think the 125 anniversary coins are the best design the gold and platinum are the best then the 2ounce but I like all I was lucky I got the gold coin for 3765 gone up in value since I got it I got mine from bullion now

But The Perth Mint’s 125th Australia Five Sovereign 2024 Gold Proof Gilded Coin is missing :)) Prepare to spend another 6K :) I just received 4 coins set from Perth mint recently and it looks spectacular! Gold one and platinum are in plans of course, but maybe next year... Very cool channel Dan! Cheers

The five sovereign is definitely not something I’m interested in. Not a fan of the gilded gold. Makes it look cheap. It’s good that you got some as well. Thanks for sharing. Dan

My favourite is the 2oz Gilded Proof Coin. I was too slow and had to pick one up from a dealer and I'm very happy I own it. I had to miss out on the gold Sovereign but for you it should be a good investment with the low mintage. What are your thoughts on and do you collect any of the Downies coins at all? They have some interesting designs but I'm unsure of their value.

I don’t get many Downies cards, I feel that most of them are over priced. Unless if has the Royal Australian mint logo on it, then it’s not as collectible. Having said that, I did just get the purple poppy one last week. Hope this helps. Dan

I think wasting money on getting proof coins silver gold graded as they all be 70 you don’t need to grade Perth mint coins only my opinion

@@DantheCollectingMan Hi Dan i did a test I went to coin show I emailed a coin shop I got 29 silver proof 1oz coins from lunar series two American eagles proof and a lot of other proof 1oz from Perth mint and RAM I the coin show it’s just coins stamps once a Month they do it They offered okay spot price The coin shop in city said only 25 to 30 a coin Not worth buying proof coins unless u sell on eBay with high fees I never buying proof again as the bullion silver and bullion gold bullion Now the only one that pays you spot I keep buying from them and if ever have to sell I sell back to them at spot price the coin shops and that will go broke offering way under spot on 1oz proof
