Thanks for making these! I bought two for two different Seydels (session steel and 1847) and both work well and make my harp easier to bend and more airtight. (I use alternate tunings so I got the plates gaskets that work for those). Thanks!

These will be amazing for low-tuned harps! With the valves stopping air leakage thru slots, is it fair to assume they will make bends more responsive? Similar to tightening the blow gap to make the draw bend easier?

as mentioned by others, would be nice to see these also offered for the Seydel 12 hole, Solist Pro 12 harps, in both the Low Octave tuning (AKA Steve Baker tuning) and Solo tuning configurations.

TBH this isn't likely to happen unless I could find someone to do the extensive hand work involved in sanding/glueing combs and sanding sliders to the correct thickness.

Hey Brendan..!!! I was wanting to get my father (92 years old) a new harmonica. He used to play and still has an old harmonica. ( it has a few problems as old as it is ) There are some health issues and they are having him blow into a bottle for lung exercises and my sister thought that a harmonica may be a fun exercise for him. Can you let me know which harmonica is an easy to play harmonica for someone with lower lung capacity ? Been watching you for a long time. Thank you for any input...!!! Sorry that I did not see your message earlier, and I hope that I am not too late. There are two harmonicas built specifically for people with lung issues: the Seydel Pulmonica and the Seydel Schaman-Medical Harmonica. Both can be found on the web site for Seydel harmonicas and both are rather expensive. Since he previously played harmonica, I can recommend a more conventional (and less expensive) alternative that is easy and very intuitive to play: the Seydel EDharmonica.
