Sleeved Oct 2020, down 120 lbs, best thing I've ever done . Definitely fighting not feeling like I've lost enough Being a short woman, 5 ft sucks because I'm a size 8 now, but the doctor still says my bmi is too high for my height. I started weight training a year ago and have become pretty damn solid, just not small like I thought I'd eventually be.

I’m the same height currently 210lbs. I’m looking into doing this procedure. Honestly a size 8 as a dream for me. I wouldn’t take the MBI part too seriously. People’s bodies are built different. Ideally we 5ft peeps are supposed to be 120lb. To me and for ME that is too thin.

My throat is still messed up from surgery bc I had a hitial hernia and my doctor is not as attentive as I would like.... I have been in urgent care twice due to dehydration and now I am losing muscle mass bc it is so hard to eat and I vomit a lot because eating slow is a challenge and I am GRIEVING not being able to eat like I use too..... But everyone including my family is proud of me for taking control and I look healthy and I have no loose skin just a little arm flab that I need to work on and I lost my butt!! So I need to lift and get back in the gym.... But I have been watching Faye since I got home from the hospital!! She is an inspiration❤❤

Watching you has helped me deal with my own VSG journey. I had my surgery on February 29th, 2022. I'm at that point where I am bouncing back and forth from 153 to 158. (That's about 100 lbs lost so far.) I had to stop weighing myself all the time. I can't eat the multigrain bread, it's too dense and heavy on my stomach. It has to be the thin flat rounds sandwich bread or sourdough bread. I used to actually get mad that I never had the dumping issues, or vomiting. I guess I wanted something externally to make me not eat everything that I wanted to eat. But I still have a problem getting my liquids in, but I make sure I always have Gatorade Zero on hand. Thanks for helping me out on my journey. It helped me to not freak out over the perceived setbacks, and know that I am still successful. 😊 One thing that has helped me out is when I might overdo it, I remember you basically saying that you invested too much money in this to allow yourself to fail. Thank goodness I'm cheap. 😅 Next for me is hunting down a hoochie-momma dress. 😜🤪😂😂

I’m plant-based. I’m enjoying it. When it comes to chicken, the brand Daring is amazing as a chicken breast alternative in pastas, etc. when it comes to Popeyes, I just had to figure out how to get the flavor profile. So I season cauliflower up in Cajun seasoning and a bunch of other spices fry it, throw it in the air fryer and it does the job. Now I’m trying to find the right recipe for a vegan “seafood” boil.

just starting out with my journey to weight loss. I scared of the excess skin. It just hard to deal with the nay sayers they give me to negatives before the positive. Its makes me just want to cut them off- like just be happy I'm trying to build up the nerves to actually commit to surgery! You are informative and I luv the positive vibes from your video

Thank you so much for this video! I’m currently preparing for the gastric sleeve surgery and I’m going through all kinds of emotions. I’m preparing myself day by day for my new lifestyle, but sometimes it can be challenging. I’m 246 lbs with high blood pressure and I’m pre-diabetic and I have to take medication. This is why I’m moving forward with the surgery because I want to live and be healthy. ❤

Hey Faye. I came across this video while looking up success stories with Bariatric Sleeve surgery. I really appreciate you for sharing your experience. I can identify and have experienced many of the things you mentioned. I'm 6 months post surgery and I've lost 140 pounds so far. But I started my journey at 493 pounds. And for some reason, pre-surgery I was 6'3" but now, after losing so much weight, I'm measuring 6'4". The only thing I haven't experienced is an increased libido. However, my wife has experienced a drastic increase in libido. 😂 Your before and after pictures are beautiful. I wish you continued success.

I just had my 2 year anniversary with gastric bypass...I was 362 before surgery and got down to 348 before surgery. I got down to 229... I had a hysterectomy in April this year and gained back 25 lbs and its driving me crazy. My eating habits has changed because I developed a ulcer..im now trying to reset and get back to my protein intake

Hello, I recently subscribed to your channel, and I was so happy to see this video this morning ooh my gosh!! My friend just told me she went through process a couple of weeks ago, and I had no idea this video was great ❣❣ I shared it with her today, thank you for sharing we really don't know who we are helping this is great information, and totally love your personality 🥰. Also I want to share about them chicken wings you like I never heard of them before, but you may already know this Cauliflower is your best friend when it comes to chicken wing substitute especially if you season it right. Fresh cauliflower has that right texture you want, and that amazing bite, and chew that mimics chicken. I don't eat much meat simply because I am not a big meat eater, but I came across Aeyesha Curry's Cauliflower Buffalo Wing recipe, and it's amazing!!! I highly recommend using her recipe which is found on Food Network it's called Cauliflower Hot Wings Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Sauce I just made the cauliflower, but used my favorite ranch dressing, and it was a game changer!! You can also make it your own with other spices. 🙂🙂

It’s really wild but good, 1 yr or so out from sleeve surgery and I can eat 1 piece of bread before the main course meal comes at a restaurant and I’m stuffed for 2 hrs still. But at the same time I eat nothing but snacks for a week straight before and still lost 10 lbs. Still learning ins and outs. Went from 234 to 150. 50 more lbs to go 💪🏾. Good luck everyone!
