Hiking in places like Yellowstone calls for a lot of preparation and a lot of gear to be safe and warm. Thanks for sharing what works for you! It is a lot of work to organize it all, but the hikes you go on make it seem worth the effort!

Here I was half expecting you to pull out a Hot Wheel car, marbles or jacks 😂. Do you download a topo map or carry one on your excursions? Good advice. Safe travels.

Wildlife will see you coming a mile away. Plus, you can't enjoy the real night experience with a light. Let your eyes adjust and you will be able to see just fine, you will not be scaring anything, and the night sounds are amazing.
