I thought the reveal of this story was going to be that there was a gas leak the whole time, he was going into hysterics and his wife really was on the outside of the door trying to get back in.

Now I’m rethinking any cabin getaway plans... the tension in this story had me hooked from start to finish. Every twist made it feel like I was right there, trapped in the middle of nowhere with no escape. Definitely chilling-this one’s going to haunt me for a while.😳🌲🖤

The whole mimicry of voices reminded me of the movie called Annihilation. The scene with the bear that walks into that room with the women tied up by the one chick who didn’t trust them anymore. She was already mad cause she liked one of the women and was politely turned down. 💀

A bit yes, but to be fair the cabin was very well built and had supplies to last months. I'd take a satellital phone just in case though, as well as a gun.

@ I wouldn’t take a gun, since I actually hate them so much that I have hoplophobia, which is fear of guns or places where guns are going to be. But I would definitely bring the satellite phone if I went to a remote location with no electricity… but I never would do that, lol… Honestly, part of it is because I’m disabled and can’t be alone with no quick access to emergency services.

It's written as a first-person journalist account, and I think does quite well at telling the story. I think you're expecting more action, rather than the physiological thriller/horror it is meant to be. Sorry you don't like it, but I think the writer did a wonderful job
