Yeah the truth hurts when it's all out in the open; Ito may have been friends with Seiji but it doesn't change the fact gaslit Yukina and Kaito's relationship. He clearly liked his friend's sister but saw there was no way in leading to him cornering Katio, letting out Seiji and Yukina's true feelings... he decided to make business personal and overstepped.

Fate of Ito: After the company went under, Seiji decided to hire a P.I. on him and found out Ito has always been like this, and he has always been trash-talking him behind his back while having a crush on his sister. Ito then one day came to them begging them for money, since the bankruptcy left him to the neck in debt, again saying the same lines as before ("I was your first friend" and such) only for Seiji, his sister, and the sister's bf, the MC to turn him down and to get away from his lives. Ito, leaving defeated, was forced to work multiple part time jobs to pay his debt.

After story: Ito's company went out business and he's having a tough time to find a new job because all he do is talking and bossing everyone else around and which kinda behavior no company want to hire him. He could have applied for part-time jobs but his ego is always in the way and soon he got evicted from the apartment he was living for being so expensive and moved to a shabby room without toilets nor bathroom. "Why?! Why this is happening?! I'm a ELITE or at least I was used to be 😭" Ito's last complaints to the wrecked walls before getting evicted from the shabby room, now he's homeless and started living on the streets. He disappeared from Kaito and Yukina's lives and no one else knows what he's doing now but I'm sure nobody cares. A few months later Yukina and Kaito married with the witnesses and blessings of his long time friend Seiji. Moral of story: do GOOD and GOOD will come back to you later, but if you do EVIL then EVIL will return to you any time soon. Indeed it's KARMA. End of story. Kudos for RibzVA and The Shades in the VA's today, have a great day everyone!

"Old friend" or not Ito had no right or any say in the relationships that Yukina chooses to have and she made her disinterest in him very clear. She may not have said it verbally until the end. But I'm pretty sure she didn't do, anything that warrant him showing that she's interested in him. And also, let this be a lesson to all if you're worried about the people you're close to being in troublesome relationships do something about it even if you have to do something drastic, but be sure you have everything to get up before you make the move. If there's no issue where there's no issue, then leave things alone.
