Daniel Boys portrayal of Rod has to be the best I've seen. After seeing Daniel's portrayal, all other Rods just pale in comparison

My 7th grade teacher (in 1975), who was a screaming queen, and incidentally a total creep, once told our class, in response to a nosy student's inquiry, that he had a girlfriend in Canada! We were in Missouri. I wanted to yell at him "Oh, please Mary! My mom knows you're gay and she thinks Liberace isn't gay!"

Nothing against the puppeteers, but i feel they should have worn black suits. It would remove the puppeteer from the equation. (Plus it would also removing their mouth movement which really took me out of the illusion that the puppets were characters. (It is not like jeff dunham where his puppets feel like characters.

NAh the actors incorporate themselves into the show. These are actors not puppeteers. Nicky has a second puppeteer who doesn't talk. Just moves one hand and makes facial expressions. It works really well

I feel like the actors are meant to be part of the character, judging by how they act in an arguably more exaggerated fashion. I like that, it's kind of like the actors are portraying the more subtle movements of the character that the puppet can't.
