I cringe every time I hear someone describe their bad-behaving friends as "That's just how they roll" I have seen it so bad that even the badly behaving friend used to walk around saying, "That's just how I roll". Life is too short to hang around toxic people let alone toxic friends. If people still think their toxic friends might have some redeemable characteristics, fine, sit them down and have a "Come to Jesus Moment" and see why they are behaving poorly. Depending on what they say, it is either time to .... 1. Help them if possible 2. Give them an ultimatum (situations such as this are the very reason for ultimatums) 3. Cut them loose and sever all ties with them. But ignoring a friend's toxic and bad behavior should NEVER be the answer. Often people will exclude you from things simply because of your association with people they refuse to be around.

The biting and drawing blood is actually dangerous if not treated properly. Most bites from humans carry a lot of bacteria and enzymes we use for aiding in digestion. Getting that into an open wound can definitely cause infections and sickness. Yeah as a person who participated in kink if it get's to the point where you have panic attacks when it comes to something you do not like and the concept you do not want to carry on and your partner is pressuring you to continue you are being abused and essentially are being SA'd if you are being pressured to keep on doing it. That is not at all ok. If I do kink as the person in control I will always check on limits and wants of the other person first and have my list of limits and wants even if I am in "control". Also if something new comes up, that neither tried, research is done first and then checked again and then done. Also during a time a kink thing is being done it's always best to keep checking especially when pain is involved. Like totally ignoring that stuff and carrying on regardless is a no. I have been on both ends, and in the sub side too I have been in extremes which resulted in panic attacks due to my inability to preprly communicate so no their is no shame to saying no and it's no shaming another person to outright say no I do not like X so I will do not want X ever. It's why BDSM takes a lot of trust to even start going into and if you are with someone who exploits that trusts or gas lights that's SA and S abuse and you should leave.

Story 2: ignoring the AH of the group, mostly directed to all your group member’s girlfriends, is the same as saying “I don’t care he is being an AH to you, deal with it and ignore it cause I ain’t going to stand up for you and make things awkward with my friend” It’s also saying to friend “there are no consequences for your actions” making him be the one who is going to be left out of things because no one told him his actions make others not like him If I have a rude friend (to our partners): I’d talk about it to that friend. Because I would like to show them that their actions are NOT ok. Give them the chance to change and if not, we part ways as friends.

Sounds like she's either really playing hard into "Vampire: the Masquerade" or it's a game she would be extremely into if she knew it existed...

Story #1 I really hope it was Pennywise because the only other thing I can think of with a red balloon is Winnie the Pooh. Story #2: Yep, dude got red pilled. Hates all your girlfriends? That's misogyny, buddy. Imo he only apologized to OP because OP is a man and therefore worthy of respect.

she's a "good person" is a funny joke. what good person gets very defensive and turns into a victim rather than say they'll tone it down

Sanguine vampiris a once powerful race of long-lived beings who enslaved humanity in prehistoric times. Commonly known as vampire, these blood-drinkers were among the first abnormals and were known both to the ancient Sumerians and Praxians as the Akhkharu.

Holy immaturity, batman! There are so many aspects of the couple's personalities and thought patterns that make absolutely no sense to me whatsoever

I had the same thought as Mark. He got a single red balloon and she got "a lot of makeup". Unless she was painting herself blue like a smurf or a member of Blue Man Group, nope.

S1 Remonds me of 50 Shades of Gray. She's so focused on the kink, even if it means stomping on OP's boundaries.

Sam gwein sounds like a play on the word sanguine, which is a blood coloured red ETA: Whoop that update makes sense 😂

There's a god named Sanguine in Skyrim who goes by a similar name when he's undercover.

"She spent hours one time doing make up, and all I had to do was get a red balloon." THANK GOD Mark mentioned this. I thought we were just going to move on and pretend that was a normal throwaway thing to say. I absolutely need more info (though I think Mark is probably correct about it being IT/Pennywise related). At any rate, despite OP's feelings that his gf is a "good person," this was definitely emotional abuse, and her manipulation was disturbing. I hope she grows up some, and they were able to detangle without any drama (since it sounds like it happened during peak covid times, I'm assuming it's at least a couple years old).

Story 1: So, she thought he was so distressed by the role play that he was having a heart attack, but then when he more clearly coneys that he wants to just dial it back a bit she gets defensive and says he’s shaming her. Yeah she doesn’t care about him. The fact that she told him to get another joint or have another drink when he communicated that he wasn’t enjoying it, displayed her lack of care about his comfort enough- but to see him have a panic attack so severe it looked like he was having a heart attack and then continue to not want to compromise for his comfort says so much. That’s a really scary situation to be in. I’m glad he didn’t just continue to go with it.

In story 2, I would have asked my friend why he wants to go to her birthday party, given how much shit he talks about her. He knows they don't get along, so why does he card? Does he just have main character syndrome or something? Does he expect to be invited on a romantic get away as well? Where is the betrayal? I don't get it...

Oh I'm glad someone told him that human bites can be extremely dangerous, especially if not treated properly. People have landed in the hospital from it. Every bite that breaks skim, even if just slightly, needs to be watched for possible signs of infection
