I agree. I love this method. I don't do it all the time because you have to wash your brushes way more often (I wash it within a few days of time using this method; I will go a few weeks when using dry method). But it does look amazing when I make it a cream no doubt. Sometimes I will just use my fingers so I don't have to wash the brushes so much. But I do like it with a brush.🙂

Yeah, I think it's great to have one brush for powder and one for cream. xoxo

Oooh, yeah! That burgundy mascara is so pretty! Sometimes black mascara is too much for the look I’m going for and I pull out the Heroine Make Volume Up Super Waterproof mascara in brown. It’s not a black brown but a red/cedar brown. Now that I think about it, it’s probable very near this burgundy shade 👍

Loved your recommendations today! I recreated the entire look and love it. If you haven’t tried LaBella Donna loose mineral powder I suggest you try it. Its been their signature product for decades. It’ has only 4 mineral ingredients with spf 50. It really gives a nice glow. They make one shade Peche which is great for neutralizing redness. I use it over my shade on my red areas and it really works.
@MandyDavisMUA2 жыл бұрын
Oh, I haven't tried that one. I will have to look into that. Where do you get it?
@senseofwonder47342 жыл бұрын
Wow! This is a MIRACLE ! Maybe an bit of an exaggeration, lol, but it is glorious. I can't believe I have owned all I needed to make the most beautiful foundation ever! I used to LOVE the original Bareminerals foundation. But it became a bit finicky with my sometimes flaky skin now that I am using tretinoin. Making it into a tinted moisturizer/foundation is brilliant. Problem solved with such a natural finish. Another reason why Mandy has the best KZbin channel!

The Bobbi Brown cream shadow under the CT Pillow Talk original quad: worked!!! Thanks so much!!! Because the new CT colour chameleon in Pillow Talk, mostly use them as a liner but used on my entire eye when going to the hospital again this week for my asthma, i removed everything right away when coming home, irritated eyes, don't know why. Inika we also have in The Netherlands, great idea to mix that in a moisturizer!!!! Chantecaille, my nr. 1 first makeup and skincare-in love with-brand! Gorgeous look -- I love how everything is pulled together with your white shirt & earrings too. I was also delighted with the surprise bonus fragrance content at the end of the video. Goutal makes fabulous scents and this one looks so interesting. I'm usually not a leather note person, but I like it when combined with strong florals, like Malle's Rose & Cuir (some ppl complain it is not enough cuir/leather, lol). And I've noticed that pink pepper is one of my favorite notes -- I think it might add that effervescent quality you were mentioning. That 'sparkly,' uplifting quality is one that I really enjoy in my fragrances; not surprisingly, champagne is one of my favorite drinks! :-D

Great video- love the look! Can this method be used with a regular loose powder or must it be a mineral powder for it to work? Thanks and keep up the good work!
@MandyDavisMUA2 жыл бұрын
I think the powder should have some kind of tint to it or it won't translate as a foundation as well, but I am sure it would work with non mineral as long as that is the case. :)

Could you use a sunscreen (like elta md Elements) to mix instead of a moisturizer?
@MandyDavisMUA2 жыл бұрын
I think you probably could, but I have always felt (and sometimes read) that if you mix things with your SPF, it dilutes the blockers. So, I just like to use that as a separate base underneath. :)
