I though sharpening should be done at the end? Something about changing color on a sharpened pixel that makes it wierd?

hi. i still use gopro 5. its color is not that good as the gopro 11 . my setting is flat color with -1 ev, it looks fine, but it's a bit dark, I mean it's like there's a tint layer that reduces the brightness. I tried adjusting the contrast but it only make it darker and didn't help much,I don't know how to explain this , it look like a video shot in the afternoon without color correction

It's probably the -1EV. You literally underexposing your footage by one stop. Perhaps set the EV to 0 and try again.
