do you ride horses? i’m guessing not. i went for a lesson today and i didn’t use a wip then i had to because my horse wasn’t listening, and i had to tell him to not do it again. It honestly depends on the horse your riding. And i think this rider knows the horse pretty well.

I can't use wips because I have small hands and it just goes in my way everytime x) When my coach gives me a wip, I end up throwing it away because I can't hold the reins with it, my hands feels so full and unable to play lightly with my fingers on the reins But my horse is very responsive to legs and voice commands so I don't need it actually
