Yes! In my town in gujrat! They have named their kids Ashok. Amit. Sunil and kiran. When I asked they said nothing against Hindus. But it was biggest lie. In Bangladesh a majority of Muslims also carry a Bengali hindu name along with a n Islamic name. A well known film director is Amitabha Reza, a respected muslim folk singer is Kanak Aditya, Jaya Ahsan is a notable film actor who worked in both Bangladeshi and Bengali(Kolkata)movies ......to name just a few. How little we know about this world!

Muslim Sikh and hindu of Punjabi SINDI Rajpoot Bangali nations have same common local names and casts without any difference of religion. Like Roshan, Gul, Pahad, Bahadur, Shair, Cheetah, Rana, Mangal, Somwar, Meethal, Suhno, Sona, Ghahna and many more names. Religion and nations are different things, religion can be same in different nations races and tribes but different nations can't be one. Muslim of Hindi nation, Muslim of Bangali nation, Muslim of Punjabi, SINDI Rajpoot and Kashmiri nations are same by religion but nations are too much different to each others.

Religious rigidness of Birahman politicians had divided India for sake of Birahman interest. They accepted and approved partition but not accepted Akhand Bharat with population of muslim majority 5 provinces out of 11 provinces in India. Nihru, Patel and other Birahman politicians had not accepted Punjabi Bangali SINDI Balloch kashmiri Pathan Assamian and many more muslim majority national provinces in India. The Birahman politicians were too much rigid at the time of partition even today like Modi and Shah.

Very intersting. India in the forties and fifties was very different and more egalitarial. My g.father,who was a freesdom fighter,went to jail and was an m.l.a in the madras govt,had two best friends. Both were muslims,one was our family doctor hakim and another dhereef. There is a photo of my mothers wedding,my g.father with these two gentlemen! And one boy from our family was given a pet name abdul!
