Looking forward to seeing ya'll open for Old 97s. If you told me this was recorded in 1962 I would have believed it. Old school country is the best!

If this song didn't win for Song of the Year when it was nominated then judges were deaf with no souls! Ms Bitter should have won an award also if she didn't!!!

Wow!!! I heard this song on 95.3 The Range from Dallas this morning. And here I thought Patsy Cline was passed on and was a brunette. What an amazing beautiful voice you have!!

Here is the definition of a professional: 1. a person engaged or qualified in a profession. 2. a person engaged in a specified activity, especially a sport or branch of the performing arts, as a main paid occupation rather than as a pastime. Just because a musician isn't signed with some gigantic record company, and their music isn't heard on mainstream radio does NOT mean they are not professional musicians! This lovely lady, and the musicians she is playing, with are ALL professionals. She makes her living writing and playing music. I worked as a professional musician for 40 plus years. I worked locally and on tours playing in bars, restaurants, hotels, casinos and county fairs. I paid my bills with music. No, I never got rich and famous. I never even made a record, but in between playing gigs at night I did go into the studio several times to sing other people's songs and also to do back-up vocals. Music was NOT a hobby and music is NOT a hobby for Ms. Bitter and her colleagues. Take a look at her Sept/Oct gig schedule. This is not an amateur playing her buddy's backyard birthday party. www.kimmibitter.com/tour I realize you were trying to compliment her but it's actually an insult for you to say she's not a professional musician. She is too nice of a human being to let you know simply because it is not an easy thing to explain, but I think it is very important for you to understand this.

Great voice, strong and smooth, reminds me of Patsy Cline, but also Kimmis' voice stands on it's own with it's own sound
