Whenever I see old documents like this the penmanship always seems to be outstanding. Its like a lost art-form or something.

Yes I agree. She strikes me as a very engaging and interesting person. Would love an opportunity to meet her.

I think that as long as your past family members loved what they did and did it well is something to be proud of.

Her eyes are so beautiful ... like someone painted a galaxy on them! Besides looks though i have to say that she's one of my favorite scientists appearing in sixty symbols because of the way she explains things. I could listen to that woman's lectures nonstop for hours!

I couldn't imagine writing a dissertation or a thesis back then. All handwritten, had to plot out data points by yourself, cholera outbreaks, stuffy suits. It was a grind to write out my own masters thesis and I had the creature comforts of clean water and Word.

Hey, that observatory where R J Pocock worked is near my home. Pity it is now in ruins as the city grew around it. and lucky me I got a digital version of that book too.

Tycho Brahe was the greatest astronomer, and his observations solved the greatest astronomical question of all time, but that wasn't why he was great. He was great because he had a gold nose and he had a pet moose who got drunk at a party and fell down stairs.

Yes, I agree. There's something really pretty about her face. It's just so gentle and loveable. And she seems to have a nice figure too. Judging by the other video about "science, it's a girl thing" tho, she's probably going to hate these comments. I hope not.

She does look a little bit like him. I have not even the slightest piece of scientific background in my family. So so jealous.

And now it's 2021, but, at least, this pandemic is not wiping out the young like the Spanish Flu did.

Hot for me has nothing to do with actual looks, but in bearing and brain power. This chick is definitely hot. Sorry for the Neanderthal attitude Dr, Gray, but I knows what I likes.
