awesome video! i really love that sopwith camel compass. dont know about the ww1 ones, but the ww2 and 1950s ones were filled with a clear oil to float the "spinner". im guess thats what that crap that was in it when you got it was, just some oil thatd gone bad or got poluted with age. great bunch of stuff!
