Pump on low, fan on high, add a second fan that creates a mist vortex that surrounds the entire green house. Aim the misting system upwards, and create a vortex with a second fan that keeps the moisture upwards. Right now, you're just dousing half the greenhouse haphazardly.

Time for a Radio Shack run. New fan, silver solder, some shrink tubing, and wire to extend the panel outside, you’ll have that fan running tip top!! Love the mister. I just bought an outdoor fan and a mister to hang for my wife and daughter in the yard, lol.

If the machine had a motor that could swing the fan 90° left/right automatically it'd be perfect, but it's also great as it is. Nice addition to the greenhouse!

You may want to consider building your own misting system as you can customize your layout for substantially less than a retail kit. Bayite offers an affordable diaphragm pump that runs on 12v and is very reliable. I've had one on my balcony here in Houston, Texas for 4 years and it still runs strong. John Guest makes a barbed adapter that allows you to connect vinyl tubing to 1/4" push-to-fit (PTF) reverse osmosis (RO) fittings. I've used Tefen misting nozzles which are male 1/8" NPT which plays well with 1/4" PTF RO plumbing. You want to make sure to use a good prefilter in your water feed as the nozzles will clog easily. Make sure you get nozzles with the short poly filters and use teflon tape when screwing the nozzles into the fittings. Once you. get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless.

the stand from Matt is beautiful! high humidity makes me worry for your succulents but they are survivors. you may want to add a hydrogen peroxide 3% spray for them once a week to keep stem rot or other fungal issues in control for the xeriplants ( is that a word?) that bucket fan might be a great addition to my back yard!

For misting my plants in the garden I use a electronic tap timer connected to some mist nozzles. It's very useful because in summer it automatically mist the plants 3 or 5 time a day for just 1-or 2minutes. In your situation I would like to use an high pressure water pump connected to a programmable timer switch.

Hey if you do decide to get a different misting system I've been happy with Mistcooling 200 psi system. The pump is self priming so you can just run the input from your rainwater and then you have very high quality mist wherever the tubing reaches! You can order different size nozzles as well if you want more or less mist on certain areas

@@TheBonsaiZone Ok, well maybe not rain, but that would be very cool! I’d be interested to see if it’s foggy in there in the early morning. You could probably set a sprinkler system up in there for rain, but you’d probably need to collect a lot of rain water for that.

Nigel-I cringed when I saw you breathing in that fine mist in your greenhouse. I would be concerned that bacteria and fungi growing in your water cube would be blasted out along with that fine mist and end up in your lungs-not a healthy thing to have happen! The water in your cube is green for a reason. And I doubt the filter on the intake line is fine enough to remove any potentially harmful bacteria and fungi. A lung infection would not be a good thing as a follow up to your covid recovery.
