Man, that's just impressive as hell. Got me geeked to pull out my airbrush again after 20 years of just using paint brushes. By and by, calling that man H&R Giger is about the funniest thing I've heard all day.

My God man, the amount of work! Absolute respect. I've loved Giger's work for decades, and I've never seen anyone be able to do his style that well. And you are absolutely right: the best way to understand an artist is to copy them. I've done the same with Giger, Picasso, and others, and it's as close as one can get to a one on one class with the original artist.

Superb work!!! Love how you managed to show the whole process - really lets everyone see just how much effort goes in to reproducing one of Giger's paintings. In my mind he remains the artist with the most unique paintings - so totally different from anything that came before or since. Great video - best KZbin video I have seen in a long time. Subscribed!

Very good, I've been a giger fan as well for over 40 years, your work is on point 👍 ... what overhead light are you using and do you do commission work?
@monniebrentart88422 жыл бұрын
Its a led deck lamp called phive...im able to bend it..and it has four different settings ...I've had it for a year now with no problems...I found it on Amazon...and yes I do commission work..Im working on a website now...where everyone can see and buy my original work...in the near future...

What printer you use for the large images you cut into stencils?
@monniebrentart88422 жыл бұрын
I found its easier to go to a fed Ex print center...the biggest print I've have printed out is 24 × 36 ...they can do 36 x36 im sure..but thats were I get my prints made
@M4n1Acal1 Жыл бұрын
I was informed he had other things he did at the time artists of analyzed like markers, and ink... If so how did he blend it in to not stick out?
@monniebrentart8842 Жыл бұрын
Well he used a certain type of ink right...but he would use ayrlic white to color shift ...even the canvus he used was meant to help him with his process....me personally I like to use different greys ...green grey....blue grey...and use Acyrilc white to color shift those....doing this I've had more luck copying gigers work.....Listen!! ...the man was a genius....and I'm sure it will take years to understand his work...to answer your question...I would use the same ink in my markers and to airbrush with....unless your using a black for details ...you won't find a maker that will blend and match your artwork...you got to use the same ink ....

What’s really sad is that all that effort to produce a visual product may not be able to compete now against ai “art”. This generation may be. The last generation of traditional artist. Good luck hope it gets sold especially given all that effort.

I think A.I. can be used as a tool. Artist might be able to come up with better ideas using A.I....if you look at it from a positive perspective...Mankind used horses for 2000 years ...now in the last 100 years we drive automobiles...I think its time for artist to evolve... thank you for watching
