For all the ladies that have clip ins, you can totally make your own halos with some 20lb fishing line. So easy! I did it to mine and it worked great. I just cut off the clips, sewed a couple wefts together, and used a large needle to tie on the fishing line.

I did this as a diy when I had darker hair (fishing wire) and was obsessed cause u can pop it on when you want and not have to worry about clip ins. I gave in and got clips in since I have ombre now and didn't want to do the dye process myself but let me tell you if they had these ombre style I SO WOULD HAVE THESE INSTEAD 😫

You can totally turn your clip ins into halos! just get some 20 lb fishing line. I did it to mine after watching her video and it worked great :) SO much better than having clip ins.

Courtney Arocho There are a couple of ways to do it. 1)The first way (which I did) is you cut off all of the clips, and sew all the wefts together with a needle and thread until they look like they are one large 11-12 in weft (may be longer or shorter depending on your head size and desired look). You will end up piecing different sizes together, and maybe even folding some in half to make them the right length. Then, take some 20lb fishing line and attach it to either side of your new 'weft' with a large needle. Be sure to tie the knot 6 or 7 times and pull VERY tight so it doesn't come undone. The trickiest part is getting the right length on the fishing wire, because if it's too loose the hair will hang low, but if it's too tight it will pull on the hair funny. You will have to mess with this part a bit. I had to cut my wire off like 10 times before I got it the "perfect length" for me. The process takes some time but it's totally worth it! You may want to invest in a thimble as sewing through wefts can require a bit of force sometimes. Make sure you sew through the fabric at the top of the weft, and not just the hair itself! 2) The second way to do it (if you don't want to cut off the clips) is to cut and tie the 20 lb fishing line by itself in a circular 'halo' shape around your head (as if there was hair attached to it). Again, you'll have to mess with the size and shape of the loop for your head. You can then simply attach the clips of your ''base" weft to the line, and any other wefts you would clip on to the hair of the already attached weft. The clips stay pretty securely this way, I've done it. It is just a bit trickier to pull your hair over after because it sometimes gets caught up in the clips. I'll often add clips to my already existing halos this way if I want more volume. The main thing you must remember here is that when you are clipping the BASE clips to the actual line, you want to make sure the rubber portion of the inside of the clip is on the wire, or else it will slide around. You'll see what I mean when you are doing it, but if that doesn't make sense I'll try to explain further. Good luck! Fortunately fishing line is SUPER cheap, so when you go through a million pieces trying to figure it out (which you likely will), you won't feel guilty haha. It took me a while at first but I was determined! And now I've pretty much got it down. Halos are 10x better than clip ins. My scalp can't take the pressure of clips for very long.

I had the EXACT same issue of wearing extensions while trying to grow my hair out, but it never grew. My husband convinced me to take the extensions out, no hair pieces at all (except the occasional wig).. And with lots of deep conditioning, biotin and folic acid, plus only coloring my hair with natural, ammonia free, demi-color; My hair (which is a very similar shade/style and looks alot like Amber's lol), now hits my hip bones (at the ends of the longest layer).. I'm really proud of my hair, I love the idea that a woman's hair is her crowning glory, and mine truly is. Once you remove all that fake stuff putting stress on your roots and scalp and stop the cycle of damage, it's very simple to achieve long naturally beautiful hair. Even if it's a self esteem issue as mine was its worth it to just go natural.. The results speak for themselves!

The longer you go without cutting your hair, the shorter it'll get by heat damage/ split ends :) so if you trim regularly it'll grow nice and long. Tips from a hairdresser :) love your channel btw!!

I made my own... i used my own human hair extentions i had bought a while back and hated the clips and so i took off my clips and added the clear string... i used the jewelry clear string u will have to replace it from time to time... i also was thinking of using fishing string but im still waiting til its busts to do that... so feel free to try it... 😉

You can buy a pack of 20+" hair online and sew the wefts together, I use a sewing machine, in the same manor as the "crown" and buy elastic by the yard from the craft store and measure it to your head and sew it to the ends and save your self 200$
