First, Congratulations on 1k subs! I so needed this video in my life. You & Tanya have educated me on my hair/scalp needs. I'm sure my scalp is covered in a thick layer of something. Thank You so much for the encouragement!!! I have been experiencing hair loss for the last 5 years due to a chemical burn from a relaxer. The burn was so bad until I have to be hospitalized for 5 days. My eyes were swollen shut. Pus was running down my face like sweat. I had to shave my head totally bald to treat the scalp. The hair has started to return but, it is so thin. I always had length but now I just wear wigs because it is so unmanageable.

Donna, what a horrific experience, I’m so sorry about your experience but glad that you’ve recovered with the exception of your hair loss. I tell people it’s not about styling the hair is having knowledge of hair and scalp and really know how to handle chemicals. Finding a stylist who is fully knowledgeable is hard. I hope you can find one that can help you restore your hair if possible. God bless 🙏

I thought being open and sharing may help someone else. The bottom line is I would like to have some hair and I’m doing what I can to regrow my hair. However if I was not a good candidate for this treatment and I lost all my hair I would just rock a bald head because what’s inside is the most important. Even though I like to look fly 😂😂😂

I am so sorry for your experience, this breaks my heart. I had a guest with a very similar situation. The relaxer was not rinse out properly and she also ended up in the emergency room and her eyes were swollen. She also came to me to cut all her hair off and I didn’t ❤ we were able to save her hair and restore her trust and she is beautiful as ever ❤

Thank you, this was educational and all new to me as I was not aware of build-up. I did have my stylist many years ago rewash my hair after I had just left the shampoo bowl and this same stylist on a few occasions did mention letting the shampoo sit. He apparently knew and I did not question him. Continued success on your hair journey and yes you still cute. Looking forward to more Utube.

I use these two products a.co/d/8ssl9Pn and a.co/d/8h9ggVG first I fill in with hair fibers and then the hair color spray. The spray does 2 things keeps the fibers in place and make the fibers look more natural.

Great video. So many causes for us women for hair loss. Your stylist is very knowledgeable scientifically. I have putting 2 drops of iodine in my water as recommended by my doctor. I have hair coming along my hairline. Maybe something yo try. It wont hurt. If interested I can DM you with brand doctor recommended. Also I like you without the wigs. Short hair suits and flatters you. All the chemicals are so bad. I colored my hair 30 years and finally stopped. I get so many compliments with my silver hair by women and men.

I also thought of something else, before Tonya started the treatments she checked my scalp to make sure my hair follicles were not dead as I thought. Once she found that they were active just buried beneath years of stuff, she determined that the treatments would work for me.

I have seen you once with a wig but thought you were just so fresh and vital and stylish without it that I was hoping you were going to revert to your natural style and so glad you did.
