Hey fellow Cali girl! Yes, after covid, my hair shed so much! I lost about 70 to 80% of my hair! It has been a year later and my hair has significantly grown back but, like you, I have those thin covid ends. I will be trimming them off as well. You and your hair are beautiful!!!

i had covid and i had a small plastic bag of my hair. the dr was shocked. i had to to a mohawk to hide the patches in the middle and shave down the sides to mask the bald spot. So i know all too well that feeling. It's growing back now thank God.

My Dyson blow dryer easily paid for itself the first few times I used it. My hair dries faster & at a lower temperature. It’s also easier for me to hold with my tiny hands. Your stylist did a great job on your hair. It is shiny & silky. Yes, swing it! 💁🏽‍♀️

This definitely happened to me, I thought it wouldn't stop shedding. I put it back in a ponytail to avoid my own hair🤦🏾‍♀️🤣, but now mths later it seems to be coming around, although I keep it braided up. I just keep it washed and moisturized.

100%, Ends of your hair need to be trimmed. I trim my hair every 3-4 weeks. When I have abused my hair I will trim it every 3 weeks. For me it’s not about growing my hair , it’s about cutting the dead ends off keeping it healthy . Love your hair. 💖

It's called Telegon Effluvium. A lot of people experience it after recovering from covid or the vaccinations. I got my booster in January 2022 and by March/April I noticed the amount of shedding increased more than I what I am used to. By the end of August, it was so bad, that I started to noticed putting my hair in a ponytail wasn't a struggle. I was a little more than armpits length. I just shaved it all off to start again and gave myself 6 months of growth before relaxing it again. It's doing well so far. I also incorporated vitamin d3/k2 and cod liver oil capsules.

Same happend to me almost was bra strap and iron deficiency and low vitamin d plus not getting a trim in over 1 year my hair keep shedding breaking until i went in for my treatment and my stylist told me again get a trim and it ended up being a cut i was very disappointed but i don't miss the stringy ends my hair was terrible bc of lack of trims and lack of vitamins. The lack of trim really was the last straw for my hair. Learned my lesson 😢

I trim two or three times a year as needed. If I stay on moisturizing my ends I have no breakage which leads to no need to cut.

So crazy I got Covid end of may early June 2022 got pregnant had baby end of march 2023 and my iron was so low after giving birth.. finally looked at my iron on my chart and it’s been low since forever but was only taken seriously after having baby so now I’m thinking low iron has always been an issue smh so I’m getting my hair chopped off due to breakage in the crown.. my hair has never been longer than shoulder length 😒 this my last time trying to grow it out lol
