Hair fall control tips that have been effective for me: • Only use mild shampoo for your hair like liitlexteral cocoonniion shampoo. • Begin with a pre-rinse using a hair rinse green tea rinse. • Section your hair in section and shampoo section by section: beginning with the scalp, followed by the middle, and lastly the length. • Create a good lather with your shampoo thoroughly and use fingers to scrub the shampoo thoroughly into hair and do the same while rinsing out. • Use warmed Coccoonion oil and gently massage your scalp and secure your hair in a protective style.

Honestly, I was really frustrated and tried everything from oils to masks, but I saw no results until I began using this cocooniion shampoo. My hair fall has improved significantly. It’s so relieving.

Thanks so much Georgie for sharing your story! I have recently starting wearing wigs full time and have the same condition as you. I recently bought the Raquel Welch ‘Simmer’ wig from your website and have been loving it! Wigs have been a new discovery for me, after years of minoxidil and hair fibres and all I can say is I feel beautiful again after years of hating how my hair looked. It’s been a chance to take back control and look how I feel inside 😊

Thank you for being so honest about your hair loss and explaining the condition which is still very much a taboo subject. Your toppers look so natural on you and will I’m sure inspire others to try them , which I know from my own experience can make you feel so much more confident and good about yourself.

Thankyou for doing this video of your hair journey. I'm still coming to terms with my hair loss. Never been to a doctor or specialist about it. Still in denial or perhaps, coming to acceptance, mode. I believe I'm affected by hereditary issues, hormonal issues (post menopause), stress issues. Both my folks had thin hair. Mum not as bad as me. Dad, about the same as me. I have always had fine hair and thin hair and also a very high hair line, around my whole head. Always been self conscious and struggled. I have relatives my age (early 60's), who have total hair loss and have done most their lives, but I've never known why. Now, mostly since Covid, I have lost about 3 inches from the front of my head/hairline and am relatively sparse elsewhere. I seldom leave the house and always wear a beanie when I do. I don't have the courage to go to a hairdresser and expose myself to a whole bunch of strangers and all the folk staring in the windows. No privacy. I cut and colour my own hair and have done for years. I look a shambles, really. Thank goodness for WFH. But that is ending and my stress levels are rising. You give me some courage. The rest has to come from within.

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm not sure where you are based, but there are specialist hairdressers for people with hair loss and often you can have your hair done in a private room. I would never go to a normal hairdresser now. I found it useful to seek medical advice and to get a diagnosis, but it took me a long time to accept that my hair simply will not grow back. A lot of people spend thousands chasing a cure and, in my case, there isn't one. That's why I am happy wearing alternative hair and it giving me confidence. Have you tried toppers or wigs?

Not sure why one of your other videos showed up in my feed but I enjoyed watching it and learning about your journey! I’ve always thought hair pieces were cool but I live in a very hot and humid climate so hair extensions would our only option and they are extremely expensive and very temporary (like lash extensions!) anyway, you are doing a wonderful thing helping people feel better cheers!

My hair is just like yours. I use minoxidil, had micropigmentation to disguise the thinness at the front. I rdfuse to wear toppers because my trichologist says wigs make things worse (sorry)
@HerHairMyHead10 ай бұрын
Don’t apologise! We are all entitled to our own opinions. I haven’t used minoxidil as it would only keep the hair I’ve got and mine won’t grow back. I’ve heard good things about micro pigmentation if you have enough hair - mine is sadly too thin. I have to disagree with your trichologist though. I’ve been wearing toppers for 7 years and they haven’t made my hair loss worse.

I fear I have this my hair hasn't been the same from I had my daughter 15 months ago , I lost most of my hair when I was 21 due to not being well and grew it back for ten years my hair is beautiful it's the only beautiful thing about me I'm actually heartbroken , my derm said It was because I had a baby then covid then covid again and it's telogen effluvium but I don't think so at this point I just can't believe I'm back to losing hair again it was something that tramatised me I was so lost , how did your GP diagnose you mines just keeps saying I have lots of hair which I still do but not as much as I used to and it's getting worse every day mines is around my hairline the top of my scalp is still thick and full, my daughter was my second baby , I had a bit of shedding with my son about 7 years after my illness , it fully recovered in fact it always remained a little thicker , I think it was so bad when I was unwell because I used clip in extensions my nape is seriously affected too thankfully my top is fine so it's easily hidden .. for now

Hi, I'm sorry that you are going through this. My hair loss is genetic, but also hormonal. It has been slowly thinning for years, but became much worse after having both of my daughters. My GP looked at the pattern of hair loss and diagnosed androgenetic alopecia. I was offered medication to slow the thinning, but I was not able to take this as it was only available in the contraceptive pill and I cannot take this as it gives me migraines. So I did not go down the medical route. And instead found wigs and toppers as a solution. The problem is that many GPs are simply not knowledgeable enough when it comes to hair. I would suggest finding a trichologist.
