You should create a website. For each item, take a short 7 second clip of it spinning 360 degrees on its center axis, so you have a digital catalogue of your collection, and put them all on display on your website. It'd be a virtual museum, while actually being fulfilling as you can see each item up close and 360 degrees :D

Best years of my collecting career were during the Mcfarlane Halo figure era specifically Halo 3, last time I really enjoyed going to the store for collectibles

Nice to see another collector! Tips...yes, a few. Keep an eye on the Facebook market place. EBay can be good but very competitive. Just make sure you are getting a fair deal, don't go paying way too much for something that's not worth it. And most importantly, take pride in your collection, no matter the size. Happy hunting!
