Very nice toolset! The scorp is interesting. What brought me to greenwood working is the need for tools to work a hollow limbed hickory selfbow. I actually made a very similar tool out of an old worn out 1" (25mm roughly) box end wrench. It works phenomenally well, and as he said I don't need to switch tools when working either side of the limb...just change the orientation a little and it will carve the left, center, or right with equal ease. It's really funny how we bladesmiths think so alike in some ways, and so differently in others. I'm very much enjoying your channel friend, thanks for sharing.

@Zedoutdoors 9 жыл бұрын
harry watkinson Hi Harry, it all depends on what wood you wanted on the handle, etc, you're best enquiring with Lee himself to get a quote. Bare in mind the blade is entirely hand forged with premium steel by one of the countries top blacksmiths and the handle is carved by hand too ~Peace~

Those are beautiful knives. How does the octagonal handle feel in your grip?
@Zedoutdoors
@Zedoutdoors 9 жыл бұрын
Three Red Trees The handle feels great, it fits very well ergonomically and there are no issues with long periods of usage. Lee carves with the same design himself full time so the end product is tried tested ~Peace~
