I have made 1 whirligig, they take a lot more work than you may think!, the hard part is getting the mechanical connections to work smoothly with low resistance

You Need a LOT of patience...Like My Brother Sonny always said..."f it was Easy, Everyone would do it."

I love your whirligigs, they're so much fun. You did such a wonderful job. I have always loved whirligigs ever since I was a little kid. When we visited my grandma's home about once or twice a year. It was a long road trip, There was a house that we would drive by that would have several of them in their front garden. I always looked out for them every time we did that trip and it was always fun for me to see. As an adult I've never had one in my yard but I have always wanted one. I recently moved into a new home wth my husband and I am definitely getting one for my yard. I would like to even try making one too. I would love to have several of them. I like dogs and birds, so maybe something with those things but I like the people ones too where they're performing an activity. Thank you for showing your video.

Thank You Very Much for taking the tie to watch my video and commenting. Always nice to know someone who enjoyed my videos.... Regarding Making a Whirligig, It really isn't hard to make them. It just takes patience and basic mechanics and working tools. I posted a earlier video about making them and info on some Great Books to get started with. Link is below.... thanks again... Life is Good, and even Better with Whirligigs..... Godspeed. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5O1d6yQhNeZsJo
