See that big bloke in front of the camera? Yea, that's me. G’day folks, I’m Mikey Cunningham. I’m not only the bloke in front of the camera, I do all the work behind the camera too. I mostly make fishing videos.
I live in Darwin in Australia's Northern Territory. Also known as the "Top End." A lot of my older videos are from the Gulf of Carpentaria, when I lived in a little fishing village called King Ash Bay Fishing Club. It's located on the banks of the McArthur River downstream from Borroloola in the Northern Territory. I still go back there a few times a year and make fishing videos of my fishing trips.
I enjoy filming and editing my fishing adventures. Thank you to everyone who leaves me a comment and shares my stuff. You guys are awesome.

Where in Germany are you from mate? My wife and I visited my cousin a few years ago in Düsseldorf. We had an awesome time... we spent most of our time in old town or alt town (or something like that) drinking beer.

All the Aussis love Germany :-) in the winter times our Guide from Point Stuart visit me, his name was Mitchel Owens he comes from Karratha and his wife from Stuttgart. Dont forget to have a look e a look to website from my friend Jacob Stein in mudgee NSW www.robertstein.com.au/ his ancestors come from our litlle city and bring the riesling grapevine 1830 to Australia. We live in a beautifull part of germany. The 65km-stretch of the Middle Rhine Valley, with its castles, historic towns and vineyards, graphically illustrates the long history of human involvement with a dramatic and varied natural landscape. It is intimately associated with history and legend and for centuries has exercised a powerful influence on writers, artists and composers. And good fishing in the river :-)

Yea mate they are pretty good. I’m still recovering. Haha. So much work behind the scenes that people don’t realise though aye. At the end of every day backing up footage and charging batteries when you really just feel like going to bed... that’s probably my least favourite bit.

Do you ever stop at The Heartbreak Hotel on the drive out to King Ash ?

Yes mate, all the time I stop in for fuel or breakfast etc. It’s under 2 hours (without towing) to King Ash Bay from there so it’s not located well for an overnighter for me personally. Although we have have stayed there once in a cabin, which was really nice. The pool was absolutely freezing (which was good) and we spent most of the night at the bar. It’s a really cool place.
