My Haunted Mansion Stuff

My hard drive crashed on me once. I was so frustrated, especially since it stored all of my son's baby photos. Luckily, I was able to find someone on Yelp with great reviews to get everything off the drive into a new external. Hopefully, you'll be able to find someone in your area to get that done. Since then, like you, I have several external drives just in case. Your Haunted Mansion collection is pretty epic. Not so much because the stuff in themselves are awesome, but the fact that most of it has been collected through your crazy, fun videos. This goes back to the quest for positivity and always keeping things in perspective -- if you hadn't gone through what you did, you probably wouldn't have met the people or made the friends you have in the last year or so. It's a testament of how far you've come along. Keep posting, keep inspiring. :)

The only real Haunted Mansion item I own is a really old record that predates the Haunted Mansion but used concept art for the ride on the sleeve. It's called "Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House", it's just a record with creepy sound effects on it. My great grandma gave it to me when my mom visited her a few years back. I actually used some of those sound effects in a short stop motion I made in high school.

I remember watching this sometimes vlog when it got released! The memories all came back to me! Life was so much easier back then. I wasn’t stressed because of school and COVID-19 was not in existence. I remember always watching Justin and laughing and smiling.. I miss those days.

In my part of the world Master is the title for a boy. The same way Miss is the title for a girl. It's an old fashioned language remnant. Not used in practise of everyday speaking so a lot of people wouldn't know of it, but still used when documenting names on medical documents when the computers demand a title in the name field.

TLDR; rambling thoughts ahead. Great Scrooge! One of my favorite Disney characters. Blew my mind when I found out he was voiced by Alan Young, "Wilbur" in Mr. Ed, who still does the voice at 96 years old! Justin's collection is awesome, one of the biggest reasons I was sad about the Animator's courtyard section closing was the Art of Disney store there closed with it. They had a sweet collection of the miniatures and I was seriously considering the Haunted Mansion, Monorail, or Nautilus. Considering price it may have been for the best. I'll try to get to the one in Disney Springs next time. For anyone who doesn't know the Blue Snaggletooth is rare because it was a misproduction. The figure is both the wrong color and about 1/3 taller than the actual character. I have a couple because living in Kentucky I am kinda close to the Cincinnati home of Kenner where they were produced. A relative worked the line and one Christmas morning my brother and I received a shoe box full of uncarded figures. Makes up most of my collection of originals.

FYI, the CD & book/record are actually two different stories. The CD is the same as the longer story that was featured on a full length Haunted Mansion 33 1/3 record album & storybook that had the same artwork as on your CD. The story featured two kids who stumble upon the mansion on a stormy night. The kids are played by none other than a teenage Ron Howard (yes, that Ron Howard) & Robie Lester. The smaller book & record was a seperate story which was recorded just for the smaller storybook it accompanied. This story was narrated as well by Robie Lester who also narrated a number of the Disney book & record sets. The book & record sets were geared toward a younger audience and featured a Tinkerbell's wand ringing when it was time to turn the page. The story that is on the book & record set is not on the CD to my knowledge. In addition, Disney released a Halloween album for the famous Donald Duck animated short "Trick or Treat" which on side B features a shortened version of the Ron Howard/Robie Lester story from the full length album.

I have that Haunted Mansion book with the record, in perfect condition. I've owned it twice. The first time I had it was when I was a little kid. It came in a set of a bunch of Disney record books. then the record broke and I lost the book in a flood. Then when I was about 15 my family and I went to Disneyland and I found the exact same book with the record in one of the stores, the Emporium I believe. They were right next to one of the registers. I had to buy it. I still have it although I have nothing to listen to it on. The record was 45rpm with most of the story on side 1. Side 2 had the remainder of the story and two sound effects tracks. They didn't contain any of the music from the Haunted Mansion ride. One track made you imagine that you were locked up in a haunted house and hearing all the scary sounds. the other track made you imagine that you were in bed one night when you were awoken by the sounds of dogs barking in the night. Both tracks ended with the same weird guy doing a yell/howl type of sound.

Justin, I have a haunted mansion collection as well, and I love yours! I made a full size haunted Mansion tree this past year I even included the wall hanging sign like yours that I incorporated. My wife even helped me make a custom Hatbox Ghost tree topper! Is there a way to show you? May inspire some ideas for you. Also, human ashes Are a lot like charcoal ashes. An adult humans ashes will be similar to a 5 pound bag of sugar, so I don't think it would fit much in your urn. Just let me know.

hey, I have the original vinyl record of the haunted mansion, and the CD is different from the record one you have because it's based on the older LP record version , which has the artwork from the cd. Your copy on vinyl, is the 45 with just the story, and was sold around the time that the mansion was about ready to open, and was geared more to younger kids.

During Halloween my family does a haunted mansion tree but we have lights but it's not a Christmas tree it's a dead mesquite tree so the wood can hold up anything and no mess
