I think this series is fantastic. I'm (very impatiently) awaiting news of Season Two. A new manga volume just came out, so that's a good sign that the anime will continue, as well. In the meantime, I highly recommend watching the Dubbed version, because Rae is, if anything, even *more* outrageous in that version, and certain moments are even more...emotional.

16:19 just in case you never read the books this is based on… Manaria is not as messed up as she appears at first… Manaria throughout this part but of the book was simply trying to be a sort of wingman for the couple (you only find out in the Claire pov books, but the entire time whenever she was alone with Claire she would try to get her to be honest about her feelings about Rae and it culminated in Claire’s reaction after the duel which in the book was a lot more clear that Claire is in love with Rae but just hasn’t admitted it to herself yet) as a way to atone for what she believes happened back home, however Rae and Claire later meet the girl she was talking about here and learn that it wasn’t one sided and the girl had consented the entire time before she was sent away by Manaria’s family (the girl literally hated Rae because Manaria had a little crush on her) and eventually she and Manaria reunite and clear up the massive misunderstanding that led to Manaria thinking she took advantage because of her rotten family.

Had a lot of fun with this show and watching your reactions, really satisfying ending with Claire declaring that Rae belongs with her. As someone who has read further into the story with the manga, a season 2 would be amazing! I really hope it will happen!

@@LousyGoose1 I agree!! Especially with that wild bombshell of a reveal about Claire and what could happen to her in the future. Man I need them to make another season!! Also if you haven’t checked it out yet you’d probably like Whisper Me A Love Song! I’ll be uploading my reaction to it very soon!! Already seems like it’s gonna be a lovely anime with yuri and music 🤩🤩

I liked this show very much. Not because it was yuri, but because it was a good romance story that had both comedy and drama. This one was one of the highlights of the season, and I really hope it will get a continuation. There were too many things left open to have it end here, and it isn't just the missing kiss and the tragedy that was hinted in this episode. Let's hope we can watch a second season of it together soon!
