One of my favourite things in this series is the fact that the villains receive just as much growth as the heroes do. This is just as much Shigaraki's story of becoming a great villain as it is Midoriya's story of becoming a great hero.

Just to clarify, Gran Torino is 100% putting on the "Senile Old Man" act, just like Yoda in Episode V. He's fully mentally healthy and capable, he just puts on an act to fool people as to his involvement with All Might and One For All. Also, I'm mega glads that Chris caught the line at 9:08.

Shigarahi's whole modus operandi is video game based. Go back and watch his first appearance in season one when they infiltrate UA. When the attack begins he says "Game Start". When All Might appears he talks about having a "continuation" and the accuses All Might of using a "cheat" when he defeats Nomu. I'll didn't pick up on it the first time I saw it either.

The third opening is probably my fave opening out of the entire series, it feels pensive and emotional yet it's soaring and triumphant at the same time. I think it perfectly captures what it means to be both a superhero and shonen anime hero with the weight of the world on your shoulders and being able to find the inner strength to do so as you're thrown into this big adventure. That's what I get from the 3rd opening.

I love how invested everyone is in Iida's dilemma. I'm with Nahid, the new intro is ok but not a favorite for me personally (sounds more fitting for an ending theme?), the previous one "Peace Sign" is one of my favorites. Everybody looks great in their RPG game outfits in the ending theme. Poor Momo. I think she could have done well shadowing a Hero that Bae Hatsume knows, there she can learn about inventing things on top of gathering educational information about everything. Also, there's a theory going around that Bakugo's childhood friend that had wings (you see him in the first episode of season 1) was one of the humans used for creating the Nomu that can fly. Not sure how true it is, but it's interesting (and sad if true).
