Kappa that’s why todoroki thought that Deku was all mights love child or whatever. You’ve got to keep in mind, particularly since the public doesn’t know about all for one, the idea of transferring quirks is probably inconceivable to people. It’s just not something anyone except for the hardcore conspiracy theorist would believe. Also, Dekus manifestation of the power is still different enough from almights (almighty has no lightning of power lines, unless those are just there for the viewers benefit, but I don’t think it is) that it just looks like they both have overwhelming general strength augmenting quirks, which could also be why people think all might gives preferential treatment to deku (I.e. deku reminds all might of a young version of himself). There are other strength based students, but none of them have explosive strength like that. Combine that with the public villain attack from season one against the sludge monster, and that could give people the reasoning of why all might sees potential in deku, and focuses on helping him. And the similarity in fighting styles and names could easily be explained by dekus known fanboy-ness. (Sorry for the potential incoherency of what I wrote, multi tasking while typing out comments can lead to nonsense).

I like how Todoroki identified with Ida's need for justice/vengeance. And how fixating on one aspect of it can cloud your judgement. I'm glad we have Deku (who doesn't understand Ida's feelings but sees the situation) and Todoroki (who understands both) being there to help him. It gives him a more rounded view of everything that's happening.

It's probably a good idea to remind you guys that quirks being transferred to and from people is not a thing that exists, as far as the world at large knows. It's why Deku was confused about inheriting OFA in the beginning, why Bakugo was so angry and confusd in the beginning also and why Todoroki wondered if he was All Might's secret child during the tournament. We as anime fans having seen so many shows, we assume that a power can probably transfer because it's anime, Deku mentioned in the very start that transferring has never been considered in debates about quirks. In MHA it is an entirely unfathomable concept, which is why the obvious answer to Deku's similarities to All Might don't come to mind for most characters. On top of that, 80% of the world has quirks remember, so all kinds of strength quirks (with different rules, triggers and limitations) are probably fairly common place, the idea of a person being inspired by All Might to the degree of copying attack names isn't too shocking, especially with how little people tend to know about the specifics of another person's quirk.

Todoroki has a gift of empathizing and understanding the darkness in others even a little more than Deku. Probably because he himself was faced with his dark side. Thing you have to remember is All Might said Todoroki gave a similar vibe to Midoriya. Todoroki too is really a true hero but he had given in to his frustrations and forgotten his inspiration. Midoriya cleared his head and helped him look up from that. Now his journey is to struggle and recover from limiting himself and finding who he is as a hero. Helping Iida is one of his first steps to understanding who Todoroki really is. Honestly one of my favorite characters. Whose journey I am so freaking excited to see.

The blood type is a long standing thing with japanese. You see it in some older game manuals. Is a shorthand for what kinda personality. Is also kinda impressive that Deku is considered a hero by Stain, and allowed to live. Yea, Iida wasn't trying to be a hero, but an assassin. The kids aren't heros yet (legally). The ACTUAL ones that bug me are in Season 3 where english words are clearly audible in some attack names but they're translated completely differently in the subtitles/dub audio.

the original is actual "full cowling" and was original subbed as "full cowl". the problem with that is "one for all: full cowl" sounds like the name of a super move...which isn't how quirks work. "full cowling" isn't a name or a command...it's a description. the reason he still has to tell himself to go "full cowling" is because it's still a new way for him to use the quirk currently but you notice he stops saying it later in the series.

MHA is the true successor of Naruto. You can see so much inspiration from it especially since the writer was a big fan of Naruto, One Piece and Star Wars. That's another reason why most characters in MHA are given a lot of individual focus and the story is a journey from childhood to adulthood as they were a huge reason for the story telling success of the three that inspired it. Assuming it's all mights quirk isn't something normal in their society. When nobody knows there's only two quirks that pass on power... They wouldn't know that. So why would they assume he has all mights power. This was the first time he is using both sides in a fight and he later does say it slows him down alternating between stuff. But honestly dome was also what I thought about. I just think it was because the purpose of the fight was to keep Stain away, that is why he didn't do it. And it shows that not only Todoroki but everyone is green at this point.. While blood types do mater with stain, that NOT why they livening you the blood type. In Japan Bloody types are used to describe personality type the same way we use the Zodiac birth signs. instead af asking people "what is your sign" they ask about your blood type.

One thing people don't really notice on their first viewing is what amounts to an important character moment for Endeavor. His catchphrase of "I'm here because I'm a hero" is the exact opposite of All Might's which is "Because I am here!". This is important in setting up what makes Endeavor number 2 instead of number 1. Even though he has incredible prowess and abilities he can't get over the hurdle into the top spot because he views being a hero as a job and that's why he saves people, because he is obligated to and he's really more into the wealth, admiration, and perks he's gained from being a hero. All Might reached number one because he wants to save those that can't save themselves and that moral determination put him on top in the eyes of the people. Others put All Might on top. Endeavor is number two because he wants to be on top and saves people to reach that end. Endeavor wants to take the top for himself, even if that means knocking the people above him off the ladder instead of climbing higher.

Don’t you guys remember that all might’s quirk is unknown to the public? Even he stated in earlier episodes. There’s billions of people in the world. There’s bound to be people with same or similar quirks. Like kirishima and tetsu tetsu. That’s why people aren’t pointing fingers at deku and saying he has one for all. They just think he has strength and speed enhancement abilities

I love how this show shows the knock-on effect of good deeds. Like, Todoroki is empathizing with and saving Iida because Deku did the same thing for him. And Deku did that for Todoroki in part because Deku is wonderful, but also in part due to the inspiration of All Might's heroism. The show makes sure to show the lasting effect that good deeds have on the world around you. I love it.

One really cool thing is that I've seen all these episodes, I have seen all of naruto, all of atla, and its amazing because they get to watch all these amazing things for the first time like there's SOO much shit that's gonna happen in naruto and my hero academia and we get to feel like we're watching these for the first time as well. Cuz the sad truth is that there is not much of amazing animes and shows out there and after watching them completely, it kinda leaves a hole in you that only another show of such caliber can fill. So it's amazing that we get to experience watching these shows for the first time again. Keep it up! and please don't stop watching Naruto! And watch rising of the shield hero!

Season 3 is basically the Bakugo reflection season. Basically everything that happens in the first half is because Bakugo is a terrible person, and the second half is the fallout of what happens. And the second to last fight in season 3 is one of the best in the series.
