The sweetness of this episode really shows what heroes are trying to protect. That’s why this arc was important. It’s not just about the heavy dramatic moments and action, but also about people having fun with their friends and family. Seeing Eri smile after all of the darkness that she went through is a powerful moment, and the arc that we needed after Overhaul. I also loved all of the background jokes in the episode. All in all, just a fantastic episode. Also I want to touch on La Brava’s quirk. Her quirk is love and that is why she comes off as obsessive. She is subconsciously driven to find someone to love and to feel that love deeply. We see examples of people’s quirks affecting their personality and habits like with Bakugo and his explosive personality or Todoroki with his love of cold soba with wasabi. It’s why Midoriya was just seen as plain in the beginning because he had no quirk. What’s really messed up about La Brava’s story is that she was just being her natural self and was rejected because of it. That’s why it meant so much that Gentle accepted her and went out of his way to protect her.

Also Shinso is another example of someone who is met with preconceived notions about his personality because of his quirk. Although he chooses to reject those notions as opposed to falling into them.

It really feels like the part at the end is the police realizing the value of Gentle and La Brava. They're openly giving La Brava a job offer, and the gorilla detective also seemed to be telling Gentle, "Rehabilitation is possible, you just have to make the effort." They're RECRUITING them! In the end, it could very well be a happy ending after all for them!

I think the point that Hound Dog was trying to make is that Midoriya shouldn’t have felt the need to take care of Gentle all by himself. They might not have been there until the end, but they were pretty nearby (remember, La Brava is forced to run back to Gentle and Deku’s fight because she sights Hound Dog and Ectoplasm going their way.), so Deku should have counted on them to resolve the problem and went back to his friends to have fun. Btw Hound Dog is the UA Guidance Counselor.

Most of the characters in MHA that we've seen have had darn good parents - Mamadoriya, Kouda's parents, and Kyoka's parents now. Then again, this IS the show with Bakugou's mom, and Endeavwhore. Also - look at Midoriya's wording last ep. He doesn't say that Gentle was his most dangerous foe, or the most powerful, just that he was the hardest one to fight. He was so hard to fight, because it wasn't power vs power, it was dream vs dream.

La brava is not selfish, she is just loves Gentle, and she’ll only work with Gentle, cause she cares about him, that isn’t selfish at all, Gentle means a lot to her. Plus it just proves her loyalty to him, she is a ride or die girl for that man, and for me Ivan acknowledge that from her, yes Gentle did made her his accomplice but she felt inspired and felt loved than anybody else, and furthermore Gentle’s charisma and determination is all that you need to see to truly respect him and the bit reason for his actions and why La brava insist on staying with him.

exactly, if anything she's one of the most selfless people on Earth, all she wants is for Gentle to get his goals, she couldn't really care less about herself, but he ended up genuinely loving her for who she is, which only increased her love for him. Its actually one of the most wholesome things in the whole anime. Both people genuinely loving each other for who they really are. Unfortunately most people don't understand that both are adults and think Gentle is a paedophile, obviously those people don't understand that people with dwarfism exist.....

Toru's invisibility works by refracting light so that it never hits her, thus there's no image to be seen. It's also why she was able to send out a flash of light during the provisional license exam, she was given a device to help her refract more light as an attack. They've gotten pretty creative with Toru's invisibility and the little touches are nice to see.

I do appreciate that they play with how Toru's invisibility the way they do. It makes sense that her invisibility would work by refracting light away from her, so they've worked that into being something that she can use in interesting ways, like making herself glitter. I love how Deku went easy on Gentle. He could see that underneath his selfishness and criminal acts that he was still a genuinely good guy so he gave him an opportunity at redemption. I would love it for Deku to accept Gentle and La Brava as his sidekicks once he gets his own hero agency and once Gentle is done repaying his debt to society.

They have such useful Quirks and it would be a shame to put their talents to waste :( Heck, i wouldn't even mind seeing them as pretend villains in a future Provisional License Exam. can you imagine how much the students would struggle when Gentle uses his Quirk on the terrain?? it'd be super hard to fight him while protecting the HUC! not to mention, he could lecture the troublesome students in remedial classes too based on his own experiences, if they ever decide to continue those
