I feel like Bakugo's "When I'm in danger, you protect me" is much bigger than his "I'll protect you." He's always wanted to be a hero so protecting people, especially people he views as weak, is just part of that. The main issue has been his pride and "no one is better than me" attitude. When he was captured they had to have Kirishima call out to him just so he would be willing to accept help, and that was while he was face to face with the biggest bad the world has ever known. To be able to say ahead of time that he might need help is a big step.

In the manga, Tokage uses her split up parts to attack Bakugo. He notes they're not very strong, but they're so small that he cannot really target them. So that's another use for her Quirk. Also, she's mainly a recon person, since she can split up her eyes, ears, nose etc to cover ground. She can also act as intel since her mouth can detach and go with other people, and whatever she learns she can communicate to them. She can pick up things from afar, distract recons while her allies set up traps, and split her body as an attack is about to hit her in order to dodge it. It's a pretty versatile Quirk.

And everytime i see the same comments, and they even comment on those comments, specifically about them either talking over important stuff or simply not listening. There are always weird theories that they wouldn't have thought of if they simply read the comments or listened to the comments so that they would actually hear important dialogue or see an important event. Even in DBZA they talked over all the jokes. At this point its not me who is at fault here, i just kind of expected that they would listen to their patreons, and make it a pleasant experience for their viewers. Actually, Class B's quirks can be considered perfect counters for those of Class A. Tokage's scattered body parts make it difficult for Jiro to pinpoint her location. Bondo's glue weighs down Sero's tape and punching a guy whose body can turn into blades probably isn't the best idea. The match really did come down to Bakugou and how well he could cooperate with his team.

Bakugo always uses nicknames and only says the name if he acknowledges them (aside from Deku, he's a special case). He calls Uraraka by her name because he respects her strength after their match in S2. He also calls Kirishima by his name too. Usually he'd be like "extras" or some other stupid nickname but if he respects you, he's gonna call you by name. It's a pretty fun trait.

Bakugou’s character development is so good, and it’s gonna get better as the show goes on. Just compare him in this episode, working and cooperating with his teammates, to the Bakugou in season 1, cussing out anyone who offers assistance. He even goes as far to say, “I’ll help you, and you help me”, when previously he’s always thought needing help made you weak.

What’s so good about his character is that he has an inferiority complex and a superiority complex at the same time. He thinks he’s better than everyone and doesn’t like “extras” helping him. He’s been told since kindergarten that he’s strong and the best, and his ego is enormous. But the moment that is tested he breaks down completely.

Bakugo, at this point in time, is the most well-rounded, intense, genius fighter amongst the first years. I would easily put him against any student in 1A or 1B, and I actually believe he was definitely not always like that. It’s fair to think Bakugo from season one would have lost against Todoroki or this version of Midoriya because his insecurities and close mindedness really kept him back. However, his development due to the events the past few seasons have pushed him to become the truly dominant force that he is. I believe him when he says he’ll be number one.

I can think of a few ways to uses Tokage’s quirk. She can split her body so she can avoid attacks by splitting up before the attack hits her. She can detach her arms to punch people from far away. She can scout by slitting her eyes from her body. She can levitate when she splits apart, which is a good way to travel and avoid attacks. She can blindside her opponents by constantly attacking them with her pieces. As long as the person has a good head they can use Tokage’s quirk effectively. Best Jeanist sounds like he has a lame quirk on paper, but because he trained hard to figure out ways to use his quirk he turned it into a effective quirk. Tokage’s quirk seems very much in that vain to me.

To be fair Marketa a lot of 1-A's teams had squadded up before; Bakugo teamed with Sero in the Sports Festival's Calvary Battle, Kaminari and Kirishima are in the Bakusquad, Iida and Todoroki were in the Calvary Battle and Iida and Ojiro were partnered in the final exam, Midoriya and Mineta teamed up in the USJ incident, as did Sero and Sato against Kurogiri and Shoji worked with Todoroki in the summer camp We saw Awase's welding at the summer camp too, Momo had him weld a tracker on the Nomu. But Bakugo didn't do a destructive attack on Setsuna, that setup was his Stun Grenade, also not then 'biggest score differential' Momo's team lost 4-0 as well

Setsuna Tokage's team plan is centered on Bakugo being an "individualist', while taking out his teammates all at once or one by one. Because of that, it highlighted Bakugo's character growth even further. As he not only showed that he is now capable to trust his teammates, he also proved that he is worthy to be trusted by his allies.

I like to believe that Bakugo will eventually become as powerful as we've seen him in the second movie, with that sick melting effect to his explosions, even WITHOUT One-for-All. That his full-fledged abilities will be just as strong, so even when Midoriya learns to use 100% of his power and becomes as skilled with it as All Might or even better, that he and Bakugo will still be equals.

The girl can probably grab people too, since her body parts can fly so she can just send hands out and grab people. Plus flight is huge in fights. I think the reason the Class B team on Todoroki's match seemed stronger is because they used a strategy that actually worked based on past info. Honeuki assumed that Todoroki would use his ice first, and the Lizard Girl assumed that Bakugo would go solo and not care about his teammates. The difference was Honeuki was actually right, and Todoroki used his ice first, making it rebound against his team completely. Lizard Girl was wrong, and in the moment where Bakugo going solo would've cost him the match, he helped his teammates out. I'm sure if Todoroki used his fire side first, or didn't continue the fight with Tetsutetsu and used Shoji to assist his teammates, they would've won a lot easier as well. The difference between Match 3 and Match 4 for me is that Class A in match 3 played on their opponent's turf, and Class A in Match 4 made the opponents play on their turf.

To be fair, Tokage also mentions that she isn't as flexible in her thinking as Honeuki. While he did make a mistake with Iida, Honeuki deciding to support his team was paramount to shifting the advantage. Also, slight nitpick, it's not that Todoroki *chose* to go after Tetsutetsu, Tetsutetsu kept Todoroki in close combat and wouldn't give him any opportunity to leave

@@relic5752 Well I'm pretty sure Todoroki wanted to keep the fight in close quarters than rely on Shoji's quirk to pinpoint their positions at the start of the match, but yeah, Tetsutetsu wanted to keep the distance close. I'm just saying there wasn't a thought at regrouping. I mean we've seen him skate on his ice before to avoid Iida and Bakugo, so while escaping would be difficult, I don't think it would be impossible.

​@@creativeartivity That's not the problem. Todoroki couldn't let Tetsutetsu go because he could just body Shoji, their only scout. Then Class B could disengage and let Hoenuki/Pony do the rest with traps and attacks from cover. Class A's problem was having a scout but no way to inherently benefit from winning the intelligence war beyond the initial surprise attack. Iida is obvious, Ojiro is melee only and not particularly sneaky, Todoroki is either obvious (fire) or ineffectual (ice), and Shoji is the scout himself. Hoenuki's gambit was that they would eliminate the benefits of the scout entirely, offering themselves up to Class A on a platter for a huge surprise attack he knew they wouldn't lose to.

Awase (the guy with the quirk that allows him to weld/fuse things at atomic level) is probably the best possible couple for Yaoyorozu. The ability to create things and the ability to fuse things in your body, in the environment or in other people would make a pretty useful quirk. And he already saved Yaoyorozu once from a Nomu and even commented on how she seems to really like cannons.

If you recall, Awase is actually the class b student who save Momo's life back at the camp, he used his weld to fuse their arms together so he could run easier while carrying her without worrying about dropping her while they were being chased by the Multi-Armed Nomu. She's a great hero, she could detach eyes and spy on people, and she could launch her fists, create distractions like making sounds away from her to fool guards, I imagine she could regen damaged body parts if she was boxing like in a fighting game where characters should look messed up but are healed looking with tattered clothes, she could probably sneak into areas by having herself piece by piece sneak in a hole or window.

Lizard tail split girl's quirk is actually really useful for recon and rescue missions. Just because a quirk has a low combat capabilities does not make it useless for hero work. Also do not sleep on Deku's team. Uraka is trained in close combat martial arts design for disabling, Ashido is probably one of the top natural athletes of her class and is good at coordination based on her dance practice, Mineta is one of the top smartest in 1A who has shown to out smart pro heroes and they are all in a team with Deku who is only a small leap behind Bakugoat in abilities.

Mineta is a bit of a wild card, but yeah he’s not dumb. Mina and Uraraka are no slouches (Uraraka sports festival anyone? Plus she had the guts to secure frickin Overhaul, even if he was knocked out by Deku that guy was dangerous!). There’s always how the teams’ quirks counter each other and such but Deku’s team ain’t bad.
