My Hero Academia is True Shonen (MHA S6)

As a true MHA fan, I’d have to agree, this show is great and it’s awesome to finally see positive videos on this anime again. Literally everywhere I turn it’s just a negative video about the show, so this was a nice change of pace. MHA right now is kinda the punching bag for anime, kinda like Bleach was a long time ago, I even heard Naruto got crapped on for a little bit, but given time people started to love and appreciate those anime’s, so with time hopefully the same happens for MHA. Overall season 6 is my fave season, the only issue I had with it was just the Deku vs Shigaraki fight, which I hope can be updated for the blu-ray release. Unfortunately, due to the thumbnail and title of the video, I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw a lot of people flooding the comments just start craping on the show again for the fandom, cause it’s the trendy thing to do, or for whatever reason.

Tbh, I really love this show, and I’m super happy it's made such a strong comeback, since it’s always been one of my personal faves. I’ll admit that there’s like, one major character I’ve grown to dislike (both in the manga and anime), but aside from that, I love the vast majority of the series. It's got problems, but it really is one of those shows that really clicked with me. Great video! As a side note, while I agree with a fair amount of the criticism for seasons 4-5, those seasons do have some of my favorite stuff in them. Season 4 has the culture festival arc, which a lot of people in the comments have been talking about, and season 5 really made me realize how much I relate to the Todoroki family subplot. That being said, I thought they were good overall, but I definitely get why people lost a bit of interest in the show at around those times. But that all just makes me more thankful for season 6.

Basically agreed with everything in this video, istg it's always the underrated channels with some of the best takes- I could nerd and obsess over MHA for hours so I feel you. Honestly everything that comes after is gonna be a huge rollercoaster that no one is ready for. Season 5 to me was actually pretty good. Yes the beginning arc with the battle between Class A and B felt slow/boring on some parts but the season as a whole is something I still love. Season 6 ep 9 wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I know most of us can agree it could've looked a LOT better but honestly for what it was, it was really solid. I adored this video! Loved the commentary!

Fun fact: sometimes studios touch up and either improve or completely change scenes for the Blu-ray release. So if Bones is up for it and have heard about the concerns for that fight, hopefully they could make a better version of it for Blu-ray.

During the first half of season 6, I remember people were talking about how the iffy parts, like some fight scenes or maybe touching up some blood or line art, might be changed for the Blu-ray release. Not sure though, maybe Bones'll touch up /fix those parts.

Season 5 had likeable parts to it and honestly if you are really into MHA (like me) then you will like it but from a normal viewer's POV it lacks a lot especially when compared to other seasons.
