Late comment but I'm curious, what do you think the theme is? I agree that the whole festival arc plays into some pretty fundamental points of the show's message about heroism. How does gentle tie into it?

​@@richardwu8371 The failures of (at least Japan's) hero society as a whole. Part 1, Quirks and Society: It's belived that quirks effect people's personalities (or at least it's being considered by some in universe scientists), but La Brava was deemed creepy and a stalker because her quirk literally made her love more heavily than most might. Much like how Toga and Stain were deemed creepy and demonized because their blood related quirks made their personalities and actions more intense and creepy. A lack of understanding from society forced them into the roles of villains, to which those two basically said, "If you won't accept me as I am, then I'll become the monster _you say_ I am." Another example would be Muscular or Rappa. Theur quirks are obviously very good for fighting so that's what they desire most. Muscular wants more than anything to fight and kill his opponents, Rappa wants an honorable fight to the death between two evenly matched opponents. Bakugo is very loud and boisterous because his quirk literally lets him sweat an explosive substance that he can detonate. Part 2, How Gentle Fits: Gentle tried to save someone and was punished severely because of an accident. If there were laws similar to Good Samaritan laws, his punishment wouldn't've been as severe, if he had been punished at all. Like how someone can't be charged with sexual assault or breaking someone's ribs while trying to give CPR to a drowning victim. Just like how Deku acted without a license when he fought Stain to save Iida and Native in the alleyway. You would think actions meant for the help of others would be praised, but because of their laws regarding quirk usage, they could very easily have been punished the same way Gentle was, but weren't because it was covered up by the police and heroes. Every villain has been wronged and shunned by society in some way, and for many of them, it was in one way or another, a result of their quirk.

I do not understand your statement.... La Brava did not have Stockholm syndrome. That assumes she would have been previously abducted or had a traumatic experience. Now aside from the story with her first love. She loves Gentle and helped him of her own free will. In what way he loved La Brava I cannot say, but he testified for her to protect her. I don't think these two really deserve your hatred and ridicule.

Yeah last episode they even explain that la brava is the one who stalked and found him and was in love with him before he even knew of her existence. Also his feelings for her are genuine because she's an outcast like him due to her dwarfism and creepy tendencies

Hound dog was toned down in this episode, in the manga when he swung at Deku he actually caught him, and launched him into the air while yelling "Go have fun!", deku did not look graceful. Mirio saw Deku flying towards them and told Eri "Look, a flying Midoriya!" Then Hound Dog GRABBED All Might and started BEATING HIM UP on the ground instead of just holding him and howling

I would like to think that they made the candied apple like how they showed for a brief bit in the opening - Midoriya tossing the stick to Tsu to stick the apple on it, Sato, who has the sugar mix, then tosses it to Bakugo to boil it up, then Uraraka grabbing the apple on the stick and coating it with the melted sugar mix, Todoroki cooling the apple with his ice, and Kirishima breaking the ice to finish it off.

Y'know, I just realized that one of the simplest ways to improve Deku's control over One For All is if he uses full cowling at a constant percentage for the entire day(kinda like what Goku and Gohan did before the Cell games) to get used to it, and then when he feels comfortable with it, increase it by another 1 or 2 percent and keep doing it till he gets to 100. They've said that Quirks are physical abilities too, meaning it's like a muscle that when used more after each time it's broken down, it gets stronger.

Sam and Morgan are going to be quite happy with episode 2 of season 6 and how some things they have picked up and commented on get addressed in that episode. Now that you guys are about to go in to season 5 the anime made a creative decision to swap the last two arc of the season because of a upcoming movie at the time. This was a really bad decision that had a big backlash when it was airing due to it spoiling future plot details. (Since the arcs were out of order) if you want to watch it normally or put a poll to see how it should be watched is up to you guys.
