I feel like to understand what was going on between Tokoyami and Kuroiro you have to have some understanding of what a chuunibyou is. Tokoyami and Kuroiro are both supposed to be chuuni as a joke because of their quirks. The closest equivalent we would have is to call them edgy. They are both "edgy boys". For the comic book guy it is similar about a difference between japanese and our language. His quirk makes onomatopoeia into what they describe. For a western example: KABOOOM -> Explosion But the japanese have onomatopoeia for everything. He used the noise jimejime which we can translate to humid/damp or whatever but we don't really think of it is as the NOISE of humidity. So Sato was wondering how that works overseas.

You say that, but Eraser Head survived having his face slammed into the ground with SIGNIFICANTLY more force than a cannon is capable of producing...because reasons. And multiple characters have survived point blank high power blasts from Bakugo...somehow...Heck, Suneater survived a blast that created an explosion more than ten stories high from point blank, despite the author stating explicitly that even heroes don't have higher physical durability than regular quirk-less humans (unless their quirk specifically facilitates that like fat gum or kirishima) You SHOULD be right, but unfortunately the author likes to pull total bs and let people have superhuman resistances arbitrarily, so a point blank cannonball, even to the face, would, in all probability, merely cause someone to fall unconscious with minimal facial injury. It is arguably my single biggest gripe with this show.

Yeah, that mushroom quirk is legit frightening. It could easily be one of the most OP quirks in the series if not for the fact that Class B gets so little screentime as it is (well, outside of Monoma and Tetsutetsu, I guess)....

Momo actually could have beat Kendo but the problem was she would’ve killed her since Kendo can obviously not survive the impact of a canon. Instead Momo wanted to focus on her team winning rather then her winning a silly 1 vs 1 match

Me personally, I could never talk to shroom girl after that, she went for the throat. She reminds me too much of Toga in the way she speaks and talks, and is really into one thing in particular (blood and mushrooms), She feels like very nearly evil but not quite.

Comparing toga to mushroom girl is crazy. Toga has actually murdered numerous people in cold blood. Mushroom girl played dirty but knew she wasn’t going to kill him. Also Toga has an unhealthy obsession with BLOOD comparing that to being obsessed with mushrooms is just… wrong.

No, the scary thing about Komori is that her mushrooms *anywhere.* Tokoyami literally had a mushroom in his throat. Also the seiyuu for Todoroki and Momo are the same as Eren and Armin respectively

Except that the Class B guy does not really see Tokoyami as a rival he just said that so Tokoyami would be guarding himself so when the dark guy grabbed Aoyama Class A would not expect it.

Of the school yard crushes, i think the most overt ones are Izuku and Ochaco Todoroki and Momo And the less overt ones Kaminari and Jiro Kirishima and Ashido Kuroiro and Komori Tetsutetsu and Kendo and the most minor ones Hagakure and Ojiro Tsuburaba and Tsuyu Mineta and literally any breathing woman :P

@@Regu269 They are biased of course, like, people say nothing at Todoroki literally burning everyone, at Bakugou making explosions at people at point black distance, at Tenya hitting people with his legs so hard they pass out, but nahhhh, this girl immobilizes Tokoyami in a harmless way that gets cleaned 30 minutes later but she is despicable lmao

@@Regu269 I think it’s because tokoyami or momo could have used attacks to physically hurt the other team but they didn’t while she gets to use an attack of that level when momo literally can use guns to hurt/detain someone or tokoyami can knock out or defeat someone with dark shadow

@@pitoseavy4523 that’s on them though cause everyone else was fighting seriously. Also guns definitely do more than hurt/detain someone. There’s no way she would use a gun on someone else. She’s not a gun expert and if she happens to hit someone in the wrong spot that’s almost guaranteed death. Tokoyami should’ve just knocked them out and they even state this in the show. That’s on him for not doing that.
