Then when he meets his class he starts to progress. Run. After the sports festival arc and the camp. Midoriya chases all might with all he has got and then all might steps off and he is left with his friends. A befitting ending. Emotional tho.

This ED is so, so reminiscent of the very first ED, which still remains my favorite; this almost feels like a continuation of it, or a new version of it. Izuku and All Might have always been associated with the beach: that's where they trained for those ten months, that's where they reunite and hug after All Might officially passes on torch to Izuku, that's where they always come back to every time, it's symbolic of their close and emotional bond and of Izuku's journey to become a hero, and in this ED, just like the first one, he's running along the beach towards his goal. In the first ED, the star gets dimmer and the sky brightens more as All Might fades more into irrelevance/gets weaker and Izuku gets more powerful and confident, until the star disappears and becomes sun rays watching over him. In this ED, it's the same metaphor, except more explicitly shown: Izuku's journey started with All Might on that beach, with them sitting together on the trash pile during those ten months -I wish we'd gotten to see those ten months more UGH- , and then Izuku goes on to meet more people who will support him and All Might disappears. Izuku still runs happily to him near the end, but he also runs past him towards all of his friends, because All Might is still an important part of his life, but now he's found his true path/goal and the people he needs to be with to achieve that. The translated lyrics of the song also more explicitly show this change. Anyway this is my second favorite ED now and I love how similar it is to the first, and Izuku's relationship with All Might will always be one of the most beautiful things about MHA in my opinion, and I'm gonna go cry now. 😢😭❤️

This ending just makes me so sad for some reason. I know that My Hero Academia isn't the best or most popular anime, but in my opinion, it's the best. From this ending, starting at 0:18, Midorya who was originally quirkless, wanted to become a pro hero. But that all changed once he met all might (0:25). Then at 0:35, Midorya got trained by all might and earned his quirk, One For All. After that starting at 0:52, Midorya got into U.A High school in which new characters are introduced and the more interesting the show got. And from then on the rest of the show just goes up hill from the character development to the intense battles. This ending summarizes it all (kind of). And once my hero academia ends, I will think of this song and how nostalgic it'll make me. This ending will always be held tight in my heart...

For me, when he starts running when his classmates appear on screen is because the help him, they push him and struggle alongside him. He continues to run as the teachers/pros appear because they encourage him. And he is at his fastest when all might appears because as momma midorya states, he is Dekus reason to live and he is his mentor

Of all the shows I've seen and maybe even of all the franchises I've loved and cherished, My Hero Academia is by far the most relatable. It's a pretty long story, but at this point I'm in the state Midoriya was in at the start of the show. I've been trying to make a Nintendo game for almost 3 years despite it sounding unrealistic, but meeting All Might and obtaining his awesome power also seemed surreal for Izuku as well. I'm glad to have My Hero Academia apart of my life.
