Amanda, you’re my favorite perfume reviewer. I bought Amethyst about 2 years ago because of you. I love it. I’ve used #9 by Trish Mcavoy for many years. It’s beautiful. My 19 year old granddaughter requested I get it for her for her Birthday, which I did. It’s her favorite. The amethyst and #9 have blackberries in common. Also Amethyst and Parfum De Marly Meloria smell about 80%to 90 % the same. I have Meloria, which I love but Amethyst is just as lovely The same woman created both them; Natalie Lorson.

Amanda , I agree with you that there are so many exquisite scents not talked about. I believe todays perfumes are lacking luster. To me so many smell synthetic and all the same! The vintage classics are the best! I enjoy Chanel 19, 22, and others. Unfortunately the prices have gone thru the roof!!! If I get hooked I wouldn’t be able to support my habit. 😂

My hidden gem fragrance is Miu Miu Twist! I love that stuff! Its the pink pepper note for me!

You are the only perfume reviewer I watch anymore- your suggestions are always on point! My favorite hidden gems are by byredo- la tulipe, pulp, and seven veils. I have a rose of no mans land as well, but that has gotten more hype. Pulp has this rich, ripe fruit smell that is intoxicating on the beach (similar to womanity but less salty).

I love it when you post videos! I'm really going to try Trish McEvoy perfumes this year-you describe them in a way that makes me want them. I never hear anyone talk about Because It's You from Armani. It's so pretty and has a rose note that is blended really well with the fruit top notes. Also, Sweetly Known by Kerosene is an amazing, delicious gourmand that I don't hear much about from reviewers.

One of my favorite fragrances is L’eau D’issey EDT. I just happened to test smell it at the Cancun airport this summer. Now it’s my current favorite. I do love Amethyst too. Bought by you recommendation 2 years ago. Also have used #9 for about 10 years.

Hi Amanda, how does Jardin Secret compare to the original Quelques Fleurs (one of my all time favorites!) Btw I think you are my scent twin! You're the only one I've found who loves the beautiful comprehensive floral of Quelques Fleurs, as well as the skin scent molecular fragrances like JHAG, Glossier You and Molecule 01 that I also adore. I'm going to need to try Amethyst next!

It’s much better than the original!! More modern - Less vintage smelling - similar to Prada iris but much better !!! It’s one of my favorites!
