I ask myself, “How did my perfume collection grow so large that I needed a multi shelf wall cabinet?” One shelf could be called Amanda’s recommendations. Every one of your videos sends me on a search. My last purchase was your own daughter’s signature scent, even though I’m 3 times her age(!)-Flowerbomb Nectar. I just ran over to spray some Burberry Woman while I type! My daughter took my Lalique Amethyst because she finds it so unique and “witchy”. My husband, as understated as yours, ( love that post!) , does compliment me when I wear Alien. Organza, and Lancôme Oud Bouquet are my strongest perfumes. Love your perfume descriptions- man reading a 📖 on a 🐎!

I have to agree about flowerbomb, a literal bomb of fragrance LOL. I have the EDP of Champs Elysees and I feel like it has really good performance as well, surprised to hear the edt is so strong!

D and G original. I also wore like crazy 1993. Wore it like you did, I was crazy about it! But someone broke my heart during that early 90's era, and I immediately stopped wearing because I could not handle the scent memory. However, 27 years later I have repurchased and loving it again. Just pulled it out of the red velvet box and put it on again. No more heartache, only the pleasure of a beautiful aldehydic floral. The crazy beautiful girl is gone. Your description perfect for my early 90's. My heart mended, it's a genie in a bottle! Where can I find your favorite you tuber? Thomas O'Bryant?

I wore 6 sprays Alien last Friday , I nearly choked myself to death while driving my car to work. But nobody said anything in the office unlike when I wear Lancome Oud Bouquet - literally everyone asking me what I was wearing. You got me interested with Guerlain Champs Elysess

I love strong and well rounded perfumes. I have about 80% of the perfumes that you mentioned and I agree with you 100% on their strength and beauty. I would add Poison Girl, Flower by Kenzo, Carolina Herrera(original floral in polka dot box), Hermes 24 Fauboug, Hermes Elixir de marvellies My Burberry Black and La petite robe noire. I am just getting into Caron as well. They have some beautiful perfumes like Lady Caron and Fleur de rocaille.:-)

The strongest perfume that I have is the intense version (not the new intensément) of "La Vie Est Belle", EdP. For me, it's a winter perfume and even then, I am hesitant to wear it on workdays as I do not want to potentially bug my clients. I can still smell it two days after I have applied the tiniest spritz onto the back of my neck.

Hey Amanda. I remember you liked Glossier You, and I was on the website for a newer company called Montagne, and they have a clone of it called “Moi?”. You might be interested in it. Around $20 less. I haven’t tried anything from this company yet but I’m still looking around on their offerings.

Hi Amanda! So I am still waiting for my bottega venetta. Super excited to expand my Chypre collection. I just received Chloe nomad absolute (I know you said it’s too heavy on the Oakmoss for you) but this might be my first signature scent ever- I love it that much! I’m seeing comparisons to Santal 33, which I’ve never smelled. Do you see any similarities? If so I might need that too lol.😂

Hi @shapel perfume:) Have you ever gotten your nose on Kenzo elephant? That one is very different and no matter how much research I did I was thrown off course when I got a decant...But I totally would love to add a bottle to my collection one day. I also recently bought Chloe Nomad absolu and that is so different and stunning to me.. I’ve been wearing it non stop (which says a lot because I have hundreds of scents) Hope you have a great week!

@kristineannb72234 жыл бұрын
Hello Lucie, I’m not a pro like Amanda, but you should research Jean Paul Gaultier (I have the essence flanker). He embraces an orange blossom note beautifully. And they are pure powerhouses

@@kristineannb7223 Thank you Kristine! Did order it and looking forward to getting it - the scent notes sound yummy! Had a Gaultier perfume decades ago - it did not agree with my skin so have not looked at brand since.

@@lucieweaver3324 JPG came to my mind also. I happen to love the original Classique EDT more then Essence and I’m in my 20s, I think it’s interesting to read comments like yours. Shows it really depends on body chemistry :) hope you like the one you picked! I also have Serge Lutens Fleurs d’Oranger which is at least 95% similar to the Orangers en Fleur mentioned (I have a decant to compare).

@kristineannb72234 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah, I’m sorry I’m sure you don’t mean any harm and are nice, but your comment isn’t necessary. I think most of us are here to see the impression these perfumes made on her, not learn pronunciation. If you need to learn the pronunciation, there’s an app for that. ☺️
@sibyl3334 жыл бұрын
@@kristineannb7223 Some of is do think it’s important. French pronunciation has easy rules to learn.
@kristineannb72234 жыл бұрын
Hi Sibyl I totally get why you might want to hear the correct pronunciations, I practice myself. My recommendation would then be to search for appropriate content to accommodate what’s important to you. I’m here for example for a “strongest scents list”. The title of her video isn’t misleading to its contents. There are in fact plenty of videos on pronunciation. Amanda doesn’t work for us. She does this because she loves fragrance, and we should appreciate her letting us into her home and sharing what she’s passionate about. It’s an important distinction. Thank you for your perspective. (I really do mean that:) I hope you stay healthy and safe
