I’m really appreciative of the opportunities I was given in high school, and of the facilities I was given access to. I know I was incredibly lucky, as were the other members of my cast, but in an effort to demonstrate our appreciation for the facilities and faculty we had, the entire cast put on our all, at each rehearsal, each performance, and put on a kickass show. I wish music was more focused on in schools nationwide, it’s easily one of the most formative experiences I’ve ever had in my life.

Now I’m inches away from 30 with 2 kids. Hence the exaggeration.) Also our school was very ghetto and broke. Ah memories.

I dunno I think we had the perfect cast for Phantom or little shop of horrors would’ve been sweet. Oklahoma 🙄 bleh.

@@ArianaCapraro Middle Tennessee, overpopluated ghetto broke ass school. We ended up doing a play on a no to low budget (which I can’t remember the title) But it was about a school and school life drama. Alot of us were goofy kids and when the night came for us to perfom, 98% of the cast (myself included) improvised our lines because we didn’t remember them. Probably due to nerves. the outcome...absolute comedy. I played the school body president named sylvia. I also improvised by poking fun at the other characters on stage which was hilarious. We were all making dweebs of ourselves but with no regrets. the audience got a good kick out of the whole thing and even our director couldn’t keep a straight face. Instead of being angry with us he admitted that it made the show better. A golden moment in time, due to silly teenage drama nerds.
