my high school stats (how i got into an ivy + ba/md program)

hello lovely humans!!
today's video is going through my high school stats, which i know a lot of people wonder about after a college decisions video. this is meant to give you all insight into what colleges generally look for, don't view this as a template as what to do/not to do. finding schools that are a great fit for you and doing things you genuinely enjoy will always yield the best results, so focus on that :)

The math stuff is impressive. I have a BS in mechanical engineering and math was my favorite non engineering subject. I wish i would have pushed my self and took higher level math in HS though. The classes you took in hs were so cool.

what AP Physics in 9th grade and calculus BC in 9th grade, how was that possible? you did pre calc in jr high wow? and finished all the levels of calculus in high school . I had no idea that's possible

Your stats are remarkable. The courses you took at university of Missouri, did you take them online or in person at the university? Did your high school transcript display them?

Hi! I took all of them in person with the exception of courses I took during COVID that had to be online (the end of diff eq and all of matrix theory). I signed up for dual-enrollment through my school so my college courses were on my high school transcript.

@@mallorygard Some of these higher schools really emphasize purchasing inhouse books that they can only provide. Then they throw some random fees that have no reason to exist

How did you manage to do dual enrollment while in middle school, or freshman year? All unis or cc in my area require you to be at least 16, or in 10th grade :/
