An easy way to think about the pronunciation is something like “Lanz-connect”. It’s closer to “lants-k’nikt” in actuality, but it’s close enough. The Landsknechte were a class of mercenaries from the Germanic regions of Europe during the late medieval and renaissance. They were renowned particularly for their “doppelsöldner” (named because they were paid double from the rest of their units), who used greatswords (zweihänder) as tall as they were as well as the Arquebus (Ark-wuh-bus or ark-eh-bus). They also dressed like ABSOLUTE FREAKS even for the time. Completely wild. Interestingly, the one in the game is referred to as a “riflewoman” in her skills/quests.

Dude i love this game so much its not even vampire survivors anymore its diablo rougelite. Its sooʻoooooo fun. Also every class has different scaling with different stats. Some can get a ton of crit chance but still not crit much. You have to choose the stats that they are good at when you upgrade their stats

The best use for the memory potion is to get all level 10 upgrades for your preferred skill. And also doubling them.

I think you're right, but normally by that point I feel strong enough that it wouldn't really matter. Maybe I need better gear for the early game?

This character turned from my least favorite to one of the ones I play the most (I just didn't know how to play it) It's so easy to do High Torment with it because it becomes a tank really freaking fast.

If you want to try a ridiculously high damage build go shield maiden with fencing gauntlets in a defense/block build. Highest i've managed so far in a 20min run is 16.5 billion. Unkillable and insane damage.

Agreed! strongest build there is. Just bugged it today, with the fists ability (Consecutive Punches), screen wiping with 624 MILLION Crits!!!

Multistrike don´t work with his main weapon,so it´s always better to pick something else. The 20% to projectiles trait is big nubers guarantee :D Well elemental statuses are quite interesting topic.All elements can have max. 20 stacks on a target. If you have like for example Orbs, they have lightning uprgrade, which is good vs high HP enemies if you have high atk speed . It´s because spark ticks each time it hits target with 20 ticks. Burn ticks every 0,2 sec for 2 sec. so it´s better on low hp targets. And finaly frost deal AOE dmg at 20 stacks or when the enemy dies. It´s good on Agony mode because is good AOE dmg. So Fire good dmg in general . Lightinig vs high hp targets if you have high attackspeed. Frost good later in Agony.

Multistrike acts as a attack speed upgrade for the Landsknecht's main weapon at 0.5x scaling and works normally for the grenades, so it's not entirely worthless.

If I play with Blood catcher, I always ban strenght. If your catcher increases damage by 5000% the additional 50% from the strength trait does "nothing", and in the early game strength doesn't help you survive.

Am I the only one who removes the hp% blessing for blood catcher? I like to keep strength since it takes a while for blood catcher to become completely nuts and strength makes that happen sooner.

@@arthena2130 Maybe. I try to ban as much and as early as possible to get my build and clean choices. I only use the strength trait with the artifact that reduces 0.8% damage per 50 kills. strength doesn't help in the early game. Do you really need 30% damage until level 30, if you can chose AS crit bonus/chance, MS, regen, def? With an high artifact amount, I need other stats asap, but in the late game I still don't need it.

@@DerFischStinktVomKopfe Yeah, I do the same, but there are not many banishes left after banishing all the defensive things, so I tend to spend it to thin out selection of traits or abilities.

@@DerFischStinktVomKopfe I love my glass canon, I want big numbers and big end of screen dps and numbers. I usually only go to movement speed, so I can outrun mobs, but I don't really go over torment 14, since then you are forced to pick some truly bad artifacts.

i second that gargoyles reboot request those boots you picked up, that do the AoE, are surprisingly strong. I tried em out one time and they were one of my highest dps items also the soldier skill is a sleeper try it out sometime and overcrit is just a chance to do a base 3x dmg instead of 2x

Grenades are good with this character, since it has a chance to proc on every single projectile hit, which can cause the whole screen to be permanently covered in grenades and the chance of grenades happening scales of multistrike which is an attractive stat for almost all projectiles. Does not do anything for the second main weapon, thou. Also, grenades can hit for over 50k each per enemy in the area on a normal run. Blood catcher of course changes that number to absurd numbers like everything else. Blood catcher severely reduces the effect of damage % on abilities and weapons since it gives so much, so I usually take any upgrade but the damage ones. Since going from 1890% to 1910% on a weapon not being very impactful at all. The elemental summons does indeed have a natural chance to apply that element, and you are able to pick the trait that upgrade said effect. But if you are not leaning into an element it is typically not worth it and can be dangerous, since some characters buff physical like hound master, and then you lose that buff. But for exterminator it is good for example, since you get to use your burn bonuses from him on summons too. The slow upgrade on needles is good with the slow upgrade on transfixion, but that is only if you do not need affliction from transfixion, since the third upgrade is too good to skip. Overcrit is just adding the critdmg bonus again and has a % chance equal to your crit over 100%. There is also overcrit above that so crit chance above 200% guarantees overcrit and a chance equal to your crit chance over 200% to double overcrit meaning three times the critdmg and so on. Also try not just taking ability without looking if you have anything to upgrade, a bit sad to see you waste power just taking them when you see them. I get that it is hard when you are talking about something else at the same time, but I would just avoid taking abilities while you are talking about other things then to avoid that problem. Purple can drop at torment 6 but the higher the torment the higher the chance of them dropping, but it's kinda unwanted when farming green gear since it dilutes the pool of seeing items to send back. It can take a second of unpaused gameplay for stats to update, and that why it looked like the shirt was not working at first. Ivroy dice on chamber of dissonance is needed to get the chest drop chance blessing. Need to pick up five chests on that map with it on. The marching ghosts are the army of ghosts that march from both sides towards the center. Just run out, and you will eventually encounter them, and they get closer to the center the closer the game is to ending.

If you want to change the quest that pops up on the upper left corner you can just hit spacebar, go to "Quests" and choose the quest of your choice (Don't know if you know it already, but I think a lot of people don't) Nice video!

at 34:27 the previous boots have higher move speed than the new ones once you reach lvl 100 but I guess since you spend way more time below lvl 100 than you do post then it was a good choice but I was initially confused until I considered that.
