@@surajpaul2547 congratulations buddy. Would suggest not to go with hard luggage, in my personal experience it looks cool but apart from there’s very little upside to it. Go ahead with soft luggage with a saddle stay kinda set up. All the best

Kokan ride monsoon madhe kar my personal suggestion karan ata khup ukada ahe + humidity u will feel the heat. In monsoon you can enjoy the greenery. I’m from kokan region.

Rear weight increases wlth the top box.. Soft panniers are the correct way to manage the bike balance..

Doesn't matter if its a long wheel base motorcycle which has enough power to cruise at 120kmph. Ask me brother......i have used this setup with a pillion for almost 50,000 kms !! It gives so much ease of life

Luggage actually shld always be hugging the bike, plus soft panniers incase of a fall is always easy to lift the bike, hard luggage it can dent it easily plus you need few people arnd to lift the bike... Watch itchy boots & noraly has explained it very well... Anyway looking forward offroading with fully loaded panniers. That wld give lot of experience...

I already have 50000 kms of experience with such setup thats why i did this on Himalayan brother... There are hundreds of examples of people doing worls rides with such setup. And it also provides safety in case of a fall..... There is nothing as "should" .....i dont like saddle bags and i never used them. I have used such setup on my versys 300 and worked wonders for me. So i got these ... simple. Secondly dent ka itna kaun sochega... any which ways bike fall ke time sara nuksaan hi hota hai.....saddle bags will tear off and damage luggage too. Btw its a personal choice....some like Panniers...done don't....

If riding solo I feel top box should be mounted on rare seat rather at the end to avoid tale swing and also there is shift in centre of gravity, atleast m not comfortable
