Brad you have a lot of admirers from afar. This story is great. If you ever can (safely) many would like to have you walk from Kaflia bay (from the rocks all the way to where Treadwell's camp site was) and from the other side where the boat left him up to his site. (You did one video of this before but more detail again would be so appreciated!) Either way, thank you for who you are and what you do.

What I want to know about is your knowledge of some of the bears that were shown on that documentary on Timothy called "GRIZZLY Man". Specifically, Sargent and Mickey. Sargent looked absolutely massive. Were you familiar with Sargent? If so was he as big as that footage seemed to show? How did he compare to Van in terms of size?

Hey! Van was a good deal larger than Sargent, or any bear I or anyone has ever seen. Sadly we never saw Van after 2021. He was last spotted on a whale carcass north of Devils Cove. He did not look good.

@@bradjosephs Makes me wonder if that video footage from Treadwell of both Sargent and Mickey was deceptive and made it appear they were larger than they actually were because Sargent in that footage looked especially tall with a very big head. What years was Van at his most massive?

I think Timothy was mentally ill. Like BPD or bipolar or something. I think his girlfriends were scared of him as well. And the bears knew something was wrong with him.

There was an audio record of a man getting eaten alive by bear, supposedly TT. What's your take on it, is that fake?
