@@rocbud43 Hi bro, what motor mount you got in this? how come you swopped the stock mount out? I ask cos, i cant get the Can size i want in the car with the stock mount, and i dont like thier Big Block mount neither. thanks man

@@1521joe what’s up bro.. I used the integy arrma mount in my build and that motor mount doesn’t line up with the stock holes. I made the chassis in 2 different versions. 1 for the stock mount and 1 for the integy mount. To fit a larger motor on that car the chassis will need to be pocketed in the motor area or you can use shims under the motor mount to give you clearance. You won’t need much clearance to fit the 1717 can size.

Thanks brother Nilsson, the mount is an integy kraton mount. I make my chassis 2 ways. One with the stock mount and one with the integy mount.

Awesome work man. Just a question, with that Integy mount will the holes line up on the chassis? Or will I have to modify? Also do you have to bump up the brace with spacers because of height difference? Thanks for taking the time to respond

Thanks I appreciate that bro. Yes you will have to modify the holes on the stock chassis for the integy mount. I made a chassis to accommodate the stock mount and I made a chassis to accommodate the integy mount. I’m about to make a carbon fiber spacer to make up the difference between the integy mount and the top brace.

Nice build but my thing is and this just my opinion Hobao just came out with this car and everyone already redoing the chassis is something wrong with the stock one cause skorch Rc been had a 7th scale chassis for the vt so please let us know the difference 🤷🏽‍♂️

SAGACUSTOMRC been had a 1/7 chassis for the VT and GT. Skorch is a coping joke! And to answer ur question no ain’t nothing wrong with the stock chassis. No offense..

Thanks for the comment brother Wayne. There’s nothing wrong with the stock chassis if you use it with the stock diff ratio. If you want to use Hobao”s lower diff ratio they offer then you have to modify the pockets on the chassis. I made my chassis to accommodate a larger variety of batteries, rigidity and better electronic spacing. By the way Sagacustomrc has been.making chassis kits for Hobao since Hobao first came out. There wasn’t a 1/7 scale Vte till Saga made the first one which inspired the Vte2 kit. There’s a lot of guys out here copying Sagas work. Saga definitely was the first.
