I just got a new compass today, I love the compass, gave my old one to my son! The compass is light weight, fast, turns fast, and best of all simple! I got the camo model, and plan to make the mods you have done! Great video, good luck fishing!

Did you have to buy a separate screw to install the kayak pulley attachment? And did you apply glue to prevent leaks?

No they came with it and I did not use any sealant. If you wanted to you could but very little water gets into the hull

Yep sure did. I used a piece of cut PVC board for a backplate.

Thank you for your video.. when you insert your drive and it locks in, and u try to wiggle it does it play a little or its snug with no movement? It looks like I have little small gap when the drive sets on the kayak, I haven’t tested out on the water yet so I am just wondering. Thanks!

Thanks for watching! Your going to have a little play with the drive but it won't be much. Just make sure to snap both sides in and your good to go!

Thanks Bro And Congrats On The New Yak! Yup Your Right That's The Only Con Of That Setup. I Used To Run A Dive Reel On A Bouy Before I Went With This And It Worked Good Too. With This Setup I'd Usually Keep A Sharp Knife In The Mesh Pocket Incase I Needed To Cut My Anchor Lose

Hey man great video! I just got a compass myself. How did you get a trey in the square hatch? I had east coast kayak shop tell me the trey wouldn’t fit.

By Trey Do You Mean Drop In Bucket Or Tackle Trey? The Bucket Just Drops Right In And Rests On The Little Lips Of The Hatch. As For The Tackle Treys I've Used The Plano Waterproof Medium Boxes Just Fine. Could Fit 2 In It With A Little Room To Spare.

@@wesleybryant7334 The Rectangular Hatch Itself Was $100 And The Drop In Bucket Was $25. IMO That's The Best Upgrade You Can Do. That Hatch And Bucket Is So Nice To Have. Only Sold It Because I'm Moving Up To A Solo Skiff. Will Be Picking It Up Next Week!
