I've seen you out and about with this and wondering if you were ever going to keep going with the channel. Great work! Keep use updated regularly. Would have loved to see the slow progress as this was built but hey it's here now.

GPS speedo actually makes a lot of sense in a skid car
@TomMelling2282 жыл бұрын
Yep. No one needs wheel speed.

wish you made a playlist of the build. currently building a v6 one. not going as hektik as this. but its mint and i love it.
@TomMelling2282 жыл бұрын
Me too. Problem is, with this car, most things are fairly involved and they are usually done in a chaotic rush to make it to events, so its hard to film especially for a novice like myself.

@@TomMelling228 ahh yeah. Quesrion. With the s15 lca was there any mods to get them to fit? I want to do the same for the angles.

@@mrrmoab915 look up ‘showtime customs and fabrication’. Awesome stuff for commodores there.

Buy a ls1 and t56 commodore. Put a fully locked diff in it and a power steering cooler in it and leave the rest stock. Do the minimum to pass tech (fire extinguisher, etc) Then take it to the track. Go from there. Every state has drift training sessions. Seat time is the best mod. Dont overbuild and dont go stripping everything out instantly. If you scroll back enough on this channel youll find my training sessions. Thats how you start.

Hey mate im curious as to how often you are having things brake on you? Eg engine parts and body parts? Wouldnt mind doing the same with my ss
@TomMelling2282 жыл бұрын
Its great. Drivetrain literally never breaks. I dont touch the engine. Just change oil and send. Gearbox is still the stock one and has never has an issue, ive literally never changed its oil. If you wanna drift an SS you need to get a decent aftermarket diff, stock lsds suck. and youll need a big powersteering cooler straight up.
@petebeat15102 жыл бұрын
@@TomMelling228 awesome info mate i was planning on getting the diff done anyway, interesting about the power steering good to know that one!
