I gussy up boxed stuffing with sautéed onion celery and extra crusts of bread that I save and loads of butter then bake it till crispy. Semi home made is 👍🏼

Personally I like a dryer baked dressing with celery and onion and drown it in gravy. I have used stovetop at times.

I have tried making fancy dressings and my family will not have anything to do with them. The only one they'll eat and love is Stovetop! I like Stove. I think I've attempted to make it but it's usually dry. I guess I will have to make your recipe. Hope you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas! ❤ I made Scalloped potatoes yesterday. I haven't made them in a while. Good as always.

You did again, Linda! I love stovetop and never thought to add sausage. I also like the idea of using more stock because it is way to dry the next day. Also, I am adding more poultry seasoning as it is more flat in flavor nowadays!

Looks delicious. We’ve always liked Stovetop and I usually always have some in the cupboard, though I generally use Bell's for holiday stuffing. I’ve never added sausage before but would definitely like to give it a try. I always add extra stock also. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
